He quickly returns to his post as the commanders get ready. The Asteroid Belt is the most likly spot of an ambush an no doubt the most dangerous spot of the journey. "If we can make it through here then we're only a few moments from the unused Zeon colonies. I don't expect it to be easy." The General tells the other higher ups aboard his ship. The General sitting at a table with a map of the area says in a concernced voice. "Well we better pray then." The soilder is stunned but returns to the monitor looking at the single blip. "Mobile Suit RX-78 ready for battle." An unknown explosive passes by and destroyes several Spacenoid mobile suits. "General we have an incoming transmission." "Put it through." he reponses. "Hello, Gerenal. Get your ships through this belt and into the Zeon colonies. I'll handle their main fleet." The transmission is cut off. The General with a smile and gained confidence yells. "ALL SHIPS WE'VE GOT A CHANCE! FULL SPEED!" The white mobile suit arrives arrives in front of Deathscyth and Virtue. "Well, it seems we meet again." The white mobile suit has shield in one hand and a beam rifle in the other. It aims at Deathscyth. "This is mobile suit RX-78, codename.........GUNDAM. Neo quickly positioned the DeathScythe towards RX-78. "It doesn't matter because I'm gonna reap your soul you insignificant Earth colonist." The DeathScythe quickly charged RX-78. The DeathScythe raised it's Beam Scythe and lowered it onto the body of the RX-78. Unfortunately for Neo, RX-78 raised it's shield and blocked the attack. "Damn it," Neo replied with angst. The DeathScythe took another swing for the body of the RX-78 only to be blocked again. "You are quite the fighter but block this." The DeathScythe kicked the RX-78 back a bit then side slashed at it's legs. Neo laughed. "It may have only been your legs but soon I'll get the rest of you." "You fool, I've studied your pattern and gundam. I've found it's flaws." Gundam puts it's rifle to its holster and takes out a beam saber located on its back. He charges and swings at the scyth. "Your scyths are mostly metal, easily able to be cut down." The sword slashes through the bottom half of the scyth destroying it and cutting halfway through the Gundams arm before retreating. That leaves Earth at a 3-6 disadvantage. Oh, well I guess I can manage. The slim body of the Gundam dodged the shots rather simply. "You'll pay for what you did." "You are truly amazing Amuro." The DeathScythe pulled another Beam Scythe from it's back. "You may have destroyed one of my scythe's but let's see you destroy this one." The DeathScythe once again charged at the RX-78 and swung at it's head hoping to cut it off. "Let me cut off your head and showcase it as a victory prize." Neo laughed. "As, I've told you. You fight with way to much emotion." He thrust off the scyth and fires his vulcun guns from Gundam's head at Neo along with a counteroffensive saber swing. The DeathScythe stood and took the hit of both the Vulcan guns and the beam saber. "You have knocked on my door, Amuro Ray and now I will let you in." The DeathScythe maneuvered behind the RX-78 and shoved the Beam Scythe into it's back. When it was completely shoved in the DeathScythe let go and flew back a few feet away. Your so simple minded that you don't even see the truth in front of you." Amuro uses his beam saber to cut the scyth into as little as possible to increase speed and movement. He then throws his saber away and takes out his rifle. "This battle has insured the safty of the Earth Sphere fleet. It is only a matter of time while they close the net and take you guys out." He points his rifle at Deathscyth. "You know I took an indepth look at Deathscyth and noticed it's self-destruct mechanism is still operation. This entire battle has lead to this." Amuro takes his final aim. "This is for betraying my trust, and you know what they say. A Gundam for a Gundam" Gundam fires it's shot which if connects will activate the selfdestructiong of Deathscyth. Gundam breaks apart to reviel a Core Fighter and Amuro takes off through the Asteroids and to the Zeon colonies where the Earth ships have already arrived. In a way, we've been fighting on the same side through out this whole war." With that said, Neo closed his eyes and waited for death. It's up to you now Amuro. Stop this war.The shot hit the inner core of the DeathScythe and activated the Self-destruct.
