Raikoh Posted April 10, 2009 Report Share Posted April 10, 2009 You need two on the field, yes, but you don't always have Grandmaster on the field/hand to use Shogun and what happens if you open with 3 Shiens and no Grandmasters? No, just no. 3 Shoguns in this format is NOT a good idea. With Rota at 1, its not wise to fill your decks with monsters that cannot be summoned. Also, w/o Gold Sarcophagus in here, you can't even search the Grandmasters out to help summon GSS. 6 Samurais are fine. You don't want useless Samurai dead draws in this deck. The theme with King Tiger and Thunder King allows you advantage until you can summon the Samurais. Also, King Tiger wipes out all the other Samurais except Zanji and Irou. 1 Yaichi is good enough in here. The others are useless. @TC: Add a Chaos Sorcerer in here since you do have LIGHTS and DARKS in this deck. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
