for those of you not paying attention, dark mimic lv1 is the same thing.

the only reason to run dek over him is the 14 attack.

although mimic /is/ a crush target.

and a fiend, if that gets you any support.

Neither have I.

You'd want to draw in fast decks, but in the form of flip effects, it's not exactly fast, which means it doesn't actually do what you want.

And if you simply want to generate advantage with it, there's a big chance that it'll get hit by a stronger monster and that it replaces itself with the card you draw with it's effect, so why not just leave it out of your deck and draw that card immediately?
