burnpsy
So, which one is the best? Rank them and explain.
Equip only to a "Power Tool Dragon" or Level 4 or higher Machine-Type "Morphtronic" monster you control. ● During your turn: The equipped Monster gains 1000 ATK. When the equipped monster attacks' date=' negate the effect(s) of the attack target during the Battle Phase. ● During your opponent's turn: Your opponent cannot select a monster you control as an attack target, except the equipped monster. Your opponent's monster that battles with the equipped monster is destroyed at the end of the Damage Step.[/quote'] For reference, this only works on Boomboxen, Scopen (when in Defense Mode), Slingen, Videon, and PTD. That's 4/13 Morphtronic monsters (3 if you don't count DEF mode Scopen), and 1 Synchro.
Equip only to a "Morphtronic" monster. Each time the equipped monster's battle position is changed' date=' destroy 1 Spell or Trap Card on the field.[/quote']
Equip only to a Level 3 "Morphtronic" monster. Its ATK becomes double its original ATK. During your second Standby Phase after this card's activation' date=' destroy this card, and take damage equal to the original ATK of the equipped monster.[/quote'] For reference, this only works on Boarden, Datatron, Magnen, Remocon, and Scopen (when in Attack Mode). That's 5/13 Morphtronic monsters (4 if you don't count ATK mode Scopen).
Send 1 "Morphtronic" monster from your hand to the Graveyard. Special Summon 1 "Morphtronic" monster from your Graveyard and equip this card to it. The equipped monster cannot change its battle position. When this card is removed from the field' date=' destroy the equipped monster.[/quote']
Equip only to a "Morphtronic" monster. If the equipped monster is destroyed' date=' inflict damage to each player equal to its original ATK.[/quote']

~ P O L A R I S ~
1. Morphtronic Repair Unit: Preme for Morphs. Very good. Searchable by Arms Hole, and abusable with Brionac, but to a lesser extent due to the discard cost. BUT, you get THREE. A great plus for Morphs. 2. Double Tool D&C: You can run multiple copies of LV4s, and equip it to Power Tool, so really its got less situationalness than one might think, especially considering how all of its targets are entirely playable in Morphtronics except Slingen. Videon would work well if you've got 3 D&Cs + other stuff. So its got 9 max good Morph targets and PTD. Considering that its effects are great, its pretty worth it imo. 3. Morphtronic Cord: This is alright, turns Morphs into Lylas, but all in all it's not great. It's sideable against Macro, Skill, and Oppression Decks, but as most S/Ts are chainable, you're usually not gonna get great mileage out of it. 4. Rusty Engine: Most Morphtronics have low original ATK, and this card's effect is two-sided. Pretty bad. 5. Morphtronic Engine: Not crazy about this one at all. It's situationalness ain't cool. The few Morphtronics this DOES work with have low original ATK anyways, resulting in minimal ATK gain. This will only EVER give a greater boost than Axe of Despair with Datatron (and even then its just 200 more), AND you have to pay the drawback. Theme-specific Level-specific card that isn't as good as Axe=fail.
Kale
Repair Unit is the best, it can search the monster you just discarded if the translation is correct. the next would be D&C, even though it is more selective. the rest are just meh.. i suppose we all think the same way here. ~ P O L A R I S ~
Unaminosity strikes again in YCM's TCG Section. T_T Now normally I'd be enraged, but there's not much people can do to differ here, so yeah. ^_^
burnpsy
I agree with every single post in this thread. I actually expected Repair Unit and D&C to be at the top. I was actually wondering which one of those two were better, but I threw the rest in for the sake of including all of the equips. I'm surprised that nobody has bothered to so much as mention the downside of Repair Unit though...
BulletMan
Is it, you can't use it on Radion?
burnpsy
Is it' date=' you can't use it on Radion?[/quote'] It isn't that. It's that you can't change battle positions. That's bad depending on which Morph you want, though Gadget Driver circumvents it.
