During the End Phase of this card is Summoned, you can place 1 "Kira Counter" on this card. This card cannot declare an attack if there are not any "Kira Counters" placed on it. Each monster this card destroys by battle, you gain 100 Life Points. When this card is Summoned, place 1 "Kira Counter" on it. This card cannot declare an attack if there are not any "Kira Counters" placed on it. When a "Light Yagami, the First Kira" you control is declared as an attack target, you can Special Summon this card from your hand and this card becomes the attack target instead. This card can only be Summoned by Tributing 1 Warrior-Type monster you control. When this card is Summoned, increase the ATK and DEF of this card by 200 for each Spellcaster-Type monster or Warrior-Type monster you control. When this card is in Defense Position, it cannot be declared as an attack target. When this card is destroyed by battle, you can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower monster from your Deck. Equip only to a monster with "Shinigami" in its name or a monster with a "Kira Counter" placed on it. You can pay 700 Life Points to place 1 "Death Counter" on a monster your opponent controls. A monster with a "Death Counter" placed on it will be destroyed and sent to the Graveyard 2 turns after a "Death Counter" is placed on it. When a monster you control with this card equipped to it is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, remove it from play instead. When this card is Summoned, you can search your Deck for 1 Equip Spell Card and Equip it to this card. For each monster you control with "Kira" or "Shinigami" in its name, increase this card's ATK by 100. This card cannot be destroyed by battle (Battle Damage is still applied). When "The Death Note" is equipped to this card, this card cannot be affected by your opponent's Spell Cards and Trap Cards. This card can only be Summoned by Tributing 1 "L. Lawliet, the Genius Detective" you control. When this card is Summoned, you can Special Summon 1 "Successor of L. Lawliet - Mello" from your Deck in Defense Position. When your opponent activates a Trap Card, you can pay 800 Life Points to negate the effect. When you control 1 "Successor of L. Lawliet - Mello", this card can attack your opponent's Life Points. If this card is Summoned by the effects of "Successor of L. Lawliet - Near", increase the ATK of this card by 600. During your Battle Phase, you can remove from play 1 "L. Lawliet, the Genius Detective" from your Graveyard to increase your Life Points by 1000. When this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard, you can remove it from play to increase the ATK and DEF of 1 monster you control by 900.
