Jake the Sage Posted October 29, 2009 Author Report Share Posted October 29, 2009 As Destined used Natalie as a means of escape, and now a way to control everyone else's actions, Lora and a few of the others watched from afar as he and his collegues tried to make an escape. Seeing the blood, and hearing the cracks,from Natalie's skull began to push Lora over the edge as she wanted desperately to beat Destined to death- but knew she couldn't without hurting Natalie. Soon inspiration hit as she remembered something odd that Destined had done that looked out of character for a man willing to use a helpless girl to run away. Moving quickly, and without being seen, Lora took hold of Lucifer and began to wiggle her fingers around Lucifer, making the hat jiggle in place and begin to loosen. Soon the hat released Natatlie and Lora threw the demon hat back to its master, "Keep your hat!" "Boss! She . . . she . . . she just got rid of our ticket out of here!" Darren said in some tone of horror."So we fight!?" Kyba announced as he began to turn into his metallic form. As Kyba became completely encased in metal the ground beneath them began to shake. A more pressing enemy!? Had the Eastern Army already sent another attack after Andrew's "death"!? Nope . . . "No more . . . no more fighting!!!" Yaming screamed as her powers seeped from her and into the very surroundings. The power this one girl had was far more than what Destined had shown and almost, if not more, potent than Lora's once she had lost herself to rage! The wind began to pick up and the ground cracked, rising and sinking in random places. Koya watched as it looked like mirages appeared from no where and even stranger events transpired. Akima could feel himself being healed rapidly, while Keith and Todou felt like they were becoming sick. "All of you stop fighting!!!" she screamed as her pupils vanished and she began to lift off the ground. Her powers now running completely out of control. No matter, l think it is about time l leave..."He turned. "I'd advise you all be prepared. Next time, you're all dead..."He, Sky, Black, Darren, Kyba, and Natalie disappeared at once. a minute later, Natalie returned without Lucifer on her head. Whoops! Disregard this."Would you look at that... The demon has grown her red eyes..." He said, placing the hat back on his head. "Hmm... I'll keep note of all that power." Technus, seeing that Natalie was now freed, ran over to her and and caught her before she fell to the ground. Meanwhile, Zero rose to his feet, which in and of itself was quite an effort due to Yaming completely losing control of her powers. "Oh no! If this keeps up then she'll end up.....!!" Jake the Sage Posted October 29, 2009 Author Report Share Posted October 29, 2009 The wind kicked up so violently that Destined had a real chance of Lucifer being blown miles away from him, but luckily Kyba held onto everyone [meaning his team] to keep them from being sent skyward. Lightning ripped though the cloudless sky as somehow the sun began to loose its britness. "We have to stop her!" Josh yelled as loud as he could manage. "Well, i'm open to any suggestions! because the power that i see here...it's almost as powerful as when i was consumed by my own power before!" While Zero was yelling, Technus was casting a healing spell so that Natalie, who was unconscious from a combination of her own head injuries and being possessed by Lucifer, would be restored to full health when she woke up. Shadow Zero Posted October 29, 2009 Report Share Posted October 29, 2009 Technus was extremely surprised to find that his most powerful healing spell suddenly became an attack against himself that rivaled even that of the ra tilt or the dragon slave. He stood up and used his power to float up toward Yaming, "Yaming, please stop this! There's no need for you to do this! Please control your power! Don't let it control you!" Cougar was standing unaffected by the wind due to his Alter Suit. He turned to Technus, "Hold onto Natalie for me!" Without waiting for a response He disappeared and this time appeared infront of Kyba, "I hope you don't mind but I'll take Destined off your hands!" He punched Destined away and then using his speed to it's fullest he pummelled Destined with attack after attack not leaving even a second for him to do anything back. "Bastard! I let you go to Natalie to try and help her and you use her as a hostage! You even threaten to kill her! I'll kill you!" Cougar continued to pummel Destined, Cougar had no mercy left in him for Destined. When Yaming's power started whipping the air Kallen ran over and grabbed Todou and Lora and held onto them and the ground using her RWS. *Dammit how did things go so wrong! Shadow Zero Posted October 29, 2009 Report Share Posted October 29, 2009 Technus holds onto Natalie so that she won't go flying up into the sky, then gets up and walks over to Cougar while still holding onto her. Once he reached cougar, he shifted Natalies weight so that his right arm was free, then slamed the back of his fist into the side of cougars head...hard. Cougar, surprised that Technus would do such a thing, was sent flying several feet away from Destined and slammed into the ground. When cougar started to get back up from the ground, Technus turned towards him and yelled, "You IDIOT! have you forgotten that the reason why Yaming is like this is due to all of the fighting??? if you really care for Natalie, then help me and the others to think of a way to calm Yaming down so that i can heal Natalie without it backfiring on me and doing nothing!" ~~~ Meanwhile, Zero, who recognized what was happening all to well, jumped up into the air and rode the winds over to where Yaming was. he didn't know if there was anything he could do, but he knew exactly what would happen if this went on any longer, and he knew that it would be bad for everyone. She'll be fine, she's receeded into herself to escape the pain, she will wake up when she wants to. You don't know her like I do." He turned toward Destined who was standing because of Sky, "Son of a B*****!" Cougar attacked again but his first hit went into Sky's chest knocking the wind out of him. Then Cougar leapt back into the air and kicked his legs together, "Razor Top Third Bullet!" He spun like a top releasing a massive amount of energy and headed straight for Destined and Sky! Akima had reached the height that Yaming was at and he tried to reach out to her, *I know why she's doing this, but her power won't stop the fighting, it's only going to increase it as some try to stop her, there has to be another way.* He cried out to her, "Yaming, please stop there has to be another way, we'll find another way!" Kallen continued to hold Todou and Lora down against the wind. She tried to talk to them over the wind, "Lora, how long do you think Yaming can keep this up?" They could hear Cougar's voice come from the spinning top of energy, "You can't hurt me this attack will reflect almost anything you throw at me!" Akima stayed with Yaming and was able to place his hand on her shoulder. Suddenly his body was wracked with pain, "AAARRRGGGHHH!!!" He screamed but refused to let go. He overcame his urge to scream, "Yaming I won't let go willingly! And this is causing me pain, I thought that you wanted to stop the fighting... the pain. Is this how you're going to do it? Todou grabbed Kallen's shoulder, "Don't forget to replace the energy filler soon. Your current one is extremely low on power. Cougar's spinning top attack headed straight for Destined, ready to slice him in half, and all Cougar could think was that he was going to avenge Natalie's pain on Destined. It's not as strong as a black hole and can be moved around, also it can be stored, like in that acursed hat's mouth. Well at least I know how to beat it.* Cougar stopped his rotation and focused his energy to propulsion straight at the black hole, *With enough speed I ccan travel right through the center of it as if it wasn't even there, what am I saying, enough speed, hah! I'm the fastest thing on the planet.* Cougar sped straight into the black hole and disappeared as he entered the center. Kallen nodded to Todou and stood ready for Sky. As he did, Destined readied a ball of violet flames."He's trying to destroy you, Lucifer.... What a smart little boy he is! Bring him back to me! I can kill him myself!"All the things Lucifer had eaten in the last few hours had been spit up, including eyes, feet, hands, other body parts, and then Cougar..."Time to die!" I would think it's time to live!" He disappeared and reappeared less than an inch from Destined's face. In their moment of surprise he grabbed Lucifer off Destined's head and tossed him aside, then slamed Destined into the ground, "I was able to build up enough speed so that the me you hit with a fireball was an after-image."
