I was hoping people could tell me how i can improve my deck...

First improvement you can make is to take out Tiger Dragon and Guardian Angel Joan. The Dragon's effect only works if you tributed a dragon monster to Advance him. And that won't work on account that you don't have a dragon to tribute in your deck (except Stardust, and you don't want to tribute him). As for Joan, her adding lifepoints for destroyed monster's ATK is nice, but she doesn't fit well in here.

 

You may wanna take out Hannabal Necromancer. It's kinda weak, plus its effect would only work on a continuous trap, and I don't think many players use continuouses very much. Mythical Beast Cerberus loses his counters after he battles, so I don't think he would be very dependent. Blast Magician is kinda an easy target. You might wanna replace them with some good old Skilled Dark Magicians. Even without Dark Magician, the have a good offense, so they could be handy. Also, add another Magical Exemplar.

 

You might want to take out Terraforming and Field Barrier, unless you get a another field spell like another Citadel or the Secret Village of the Spellcasters. Trust me, situational cards tend to slow down your game. I should know since I tend to use them myself. If you get another field, you then could add another Terraforming.

 

Another Piece of advice I have is to not to rely on many Continuous Spell/Trap Cards. You don't want to fill up you Spell/Trap Card Zones too often. You may also want to swap Giant Trunade with Heavy Storm. Also add a Lightning Vortex or 2 to your deck. It could come in handy.

 

Last thing I wanna add it that you might want to add other synchros to your deck, and Tuners as well. Main synchro you want is Arcanite Magician (I want one as well). I know of a couple tuner spellcasters, Fequency Magician and Night's End Sorcerer, and they're both LV2s, perfect for Apprentice Magician's effect.

 

That's all I can think off.

 

EDIT: Almost forgot. You might also wanna consider a couple Magical Dimensions in your deck.
