Any way, can someone explain to me these things... Synchro MonstersAdvanced SummonBurst ModeAssault Mode[/quote'] Synchros... Have been explained twice within the last two pages of this section. Advance (not advanced) Summon = Tribute Summon, we're starting to use OCG terminology (such as this) Also, it's Buster, not burst, but regardless: /Buster = /Assault Mode /Assault Mode monsters are basically a failed attempt at powering specific synchro monsters using the trap card "Assault Mode Activate" to do so. The only one that can be even claimed to be worth it is Stardust, and that's in a dedicated deck.

K.B. strategist
It's only used in the OCG, in the TCG it's still Tribute Summon. The only terminology that changed in the TCG is Fusion Deck -> Extra Deck to make way for Synchro Monsters.

On top of the difficulty in getting REGULAR /Assault Mode monsters out, you add one that requires a LIMITED tuner? You just made it 3x more difficult. No Thanks.
