OOC: has everyone ignored the fact that I stopped the blades or what? :? Takahiro cant kill the thing so I thought the least he could do since he was so powered up was stop one measly attack..

"Hup. Everyone, freeze."

 

A voice echoed across the room, and time seemed to freeze. Quite literally. Yuki was just poised to strike Lunia, floating in midair, and everyone else was following with their attacks.

 

A section of the room seemed to split in half, and was pulled apart. Stepping out of the gap was a human figure, masked entirely in a silver-and-black striped jumpsuit that covered it fully. The only thing that was distinct was a plain white porcelain mask, depicting a face of mild amusement. "Actually, Yuki, I think I'd like to talk to you."

 

Walking up on air, the figure tapped the commander of SEES, removing him from the restraints of frozen time. As the effect faded, a heat haze covered the rest of the room, and the other members and Lunia stirred back to life continuing their assault. However, they were dimensionally-separated from the two, unable to interact with the scene that was about to unfold.

 

"So, Yuki," the figure stated in a melodic voice, the mask's mouth moving to form words, "do you miss me? I hope you don't. The Spaceman never forgets those who stood against him, you know."

 

OOC: In short, Spaceman and Yuki are in a temporary parallel dimension. The rest of you cannot interact with them, and neither they with you. You still need to contend with Lunia, though.

OOC: Spaceman is... well, you'll see. Just don't talk to Yuki, or try to stop him.

Yuki, poised in mid-air as though there was ground beneath his feet, let his sword drop. Standing right in front of him....that mask....he....

 

"You...." was all he could manage to mutter out. His eyes were wide again. Somewhere out of the corner of his eye, he could see Lunia and his comrades. But he couldn't hear a sound. He wasn't even sure if he really saw them. They seemed...distant.

 

And thi man....the one who stood before him. Memories flashing back. The mask. Tori's face. A monster. Lunia? No, something else. Blood. Tori's face. The mask. The blood. Ayame, screaming. More blood. That woman...the one in blue. Her cold eyes on him, sympathetic and yet stern. That clock she stood in front of. Blood. Tori. The mask.

 

It was overwhealming to him. He was speechless. Valefor hovered behind him, silntly urging him to do...something. She knew. She knew this was a hated enemy. Why could Yuki not do anything but stare?!

"Well, I'm sure you're confused why I'm back. You thought you got rid of Lunia, and therefore me. However, you're quite wrong." Stepping across midair, the Spaceman stopped right in front of Yuki, and poked him in the forehead. "The truth be told, Lunia isn't the only one."

 

He then turned and began to walk back, flipping his hand into the air as he went in a careless gesture. "Oh no, there are seven of my children, each one more powerful than the last. And Lunia here is only the first. If you were so weak to have had your teammates perish at its hands, well then... I'm sure you know where I'm going, right?"

 

Clapping his hands, the Spaceman watched as Lunia shined and condensed into a small silver orb, which flew through the dimensional barrier into his awaiting hand. Pocketing it, the figure arrived at the black square from which he entered, and stepped back inside. "You should ask the Baron; he and I have a... history together."

 

"Oh, and you only have two minutes before Tartarus collapses. Make it quick." With that, the square closed, and the dimensional haze disappeared.

 

OOC: DAY will be arriving soon, so make it quick.

The beast began swinging the ribbons around wildly trying to hit anyone. Takahiro was still standing there, bleeding from every opening on his face, shaking violently, and eyes glowing red. He was still shut out from the rest of the world. His mind made no sense to him anymore. All he knew to do was attack. Fenrir was wildly attacking the giant creature but with very little results.

 

'This is it' he thought, 'I'll have to concentrate harder!' His body began to shake even harder, the ground beneath him began to crack and fissure. The blood on his face began to lift off of his face and float into the air in front of him.

 

And then it happened. *SPURT* blood went flying out in front of him covering the ground. All the energy around him vanished. His eyes returned to normal, and Fenrir vanished.

 

He had been struck by a ribbon right below his heart. It went straight through him. He coughed up a large amount of blood some of which landed on his hand. He pulled his hand up to his face and looked at it in shock.

 

All he could manage to say was, "Ayumu-" before he crashed head-first for the ground and lay still. He was unconcious and barely alive. He would bleed out soon if not healed.

As soon as he had gone, Yuki's shocked expression began to flit away. Valefor's subconscious warnings came to him. It was like a blanket had been lifted from his mind.

 

He opened his eyes, realizing he had somehow made it back to the floor. Valefor was hovering protectively over him, trying to make sure he was alright. Abruptly, he stood and turned. "Everyone! out! The fight is over, Tartarus will be vanishing in moments. Go!" he commanded.

 

Valefor swooped down, picking up the two new guys, as well as Haruto's limp form. Yuki fixed his Persona, the Baron with a glare before it flew off after its master. He would need to talk with him tomorrow night.

 

Sho could move on his own, he wasn't a worry. Yoshi already seemed to be gone. That just left Ayumu and Takahiro. That idiot was on the floor, bleeding out after his berserk-like frenzy. Dumbass, fool! He knew he wasn't supposed to use that technique if he couldn't handle it!

 

"For the love of God!" Yuki cried as he forward, grabbing Takahiro around the torso and lifting him bodily onto his back. He was still bleeding, and dripping all over Yuki's shirt, but was otherwise immobile.

 

"Oyakasu! Nakashima! We're leaving!" he shouted as he made a break for the exit, the vermin riding on his back.

 

The clock tolled 11 times. One minute left.

DAY

"Ack..." There was a definite sting on Haruto's arm as he left class to make his way to the lunchroom. From what Yuki had informed him after leaving, he had sustained a rather severe injury to his right shoulder from that bizarre beast. However, he hadn't taken the worst of it; Takahiro was lucky to be out alive, for one of the ribbons had pierced his chest.

 

Prodding the sling that his arm was in, Haruto slid over to a table, lunch in hand. "Hello, Yuki. D'ya mind catching me up to speed with what happened after I blacked out last night? I really can't remember, besides this hole in my arm, of course." The teen was itching for an answer, quite literally. This cast annoyed him to no end.

 

OOC: I'm going to bed soon. All members are in DAY, and should be making their way to the cafeteria.

Katou walked through the door of his class at Gekkoukan, happily humming a tune. "Hmm?" Katou heard a voice from behind him, only to see a Shadow. Katou rubbed his eyes, and when he looked back the Shadow was gone. "Woah... I'll have to ask the guys about this at the cafeteria." Katou thought to himself. He went to his locker, opened it, and threw his books in, when suddenly... He tripped. Katou tripped without even moving. "What...? I'm losing my mind..." He thought to himself. Katou then locked his locker and walked to the cafeteria, humming the same happy tune.

[Encalade Shinamisu]

Sho got the message. Th place was collapsing. It would be day soon...

 

"Taka! Get out of here! Nakashima, come with me! Let's go!"

 

He had Thoth forcefully envelop them in light screen and brought them up the stairs, as he ran with his natural speed...

 

He dodged through the last door out and tumbled over, and the persona of his allowed the two it held to drop to the ground...

 

"Everyone okay?!"

 

He looked to assess the situation. The vision he had earlier still played in his head. The moment of epiphany, the wierd visions continued to reel in his mind. He called his persona back fully. He turned to the building which collapsed back into the ground...

 

Day

 

Sho walked to the cafeteria, awaiting reports from everyone else. If he could find out as much as he could about what he had seen last night, he would be at peace. He still had visions...

 

He got himself a few bento boxes, for the group. Just a gesture for everyone, and he sat at the tabl, setting them down where everyone would sit...

Yuki had been thinking quietly to himself about the previous night's events. He hadn't even bothered taking the time to enjoy the sunlight (after two days of darkness). His head was a mess. How the hell did it all happen? It seemed to be happening so fast, he lost track of events.

 

Lunia, that beast. The man in the mask. And that other presence Valefor had picked up that he had never had the chance to investigate. Takahiro was at the Kirijo hospital right now, recovering from his almost mortal injury. Yuki had had to do some serious bribing to ensure no questions were asked about a boy who arrived in the middle of the night with a wound in his heart.

 

He had been reported to be in stable condition, which was somewhat of a relief. He wouldn't wish death on the ingrate. After that, he had insisted on going to school. An ingrate to the end, Yuki supposed. All that effort to get him treated and he couldn't even stay in bed.

 

It was at that moment that Haruto had taken a seat next to him, asking if he could be brought up to speed. The rest of the group seemed to be assembled around him as well.

 

Yuki shrugged, pushing his thoughts aside. "I suppose I could do that for you, Ashizuka. After your....injury," he decided not to say "pathetic attempt at consciousness", "we all began to engage that beast. I had a feeling we couldn't defeat it," he lied. He knew they couldn't defeat it. "So I ordered a retreat after I launched a distraction at it. Then... someone from the past appeared." he mumbled the last part.

 

"I may have to discuss this with the rest of you later." he decided on. "That's enough for now. After the delinquint suffered from his injury, we all managed to get out before Tartarus collapsed."

 

He still had questions to ask. He needed to talk to the Baron. Tonight.

 

"We're going back tonight. I want all of you ready."

OOC: -.- Katou, it's DAY already. You shouldn't be in Tartarus. You should be back in Gekkoukan. Fix, plz.

 

IC: "Hmm... Oh, thank you, Okayasu-san." Pulling the bento box open and shoving his own lunch aside for the moment, Haruto broke open a pair of chopsticks with his free hand, and started to shovel the awaiting umeboshi into his mouth like it was going out of fashion. However, something was nagging him. Yuki was definitely withholding information; he wasn't always this dour. A jerk, sure, but not secretive.

 

"So, whaddya guys wanna do after classes? I was thinking of going to Paulownia Mall to just hang out, y'know?" Finishing off the small pile of umeboshi, he suddenly realized something. "Hey, guys. I don't think I'll be able to accompany you to Tartarus tonight. With my bum arm and all, I won't be able to use my bow, and that's going to make me a real dead weight."

 

He then tried to cross his arms, but failed. "So, do you mind letting me sit this one out tonight?"

Katou pushed open the doors of the cafeteria, and immediately walked over to the table where everybody else was sitting. "That was a rough night in Tartarus last night, eh?" Katou said happily. "Guys... I have a question." He was speaking more seriously now, "I thought I saw a Shadow in the hall, is that possible, or am I just losing my mind?" Katou asked, hoping it would be the second answer, because he knew, that if normal people tried to fight Shadows... The results would be horrible.

 

OOC: I already fixed it Rinne. I noticed the change ^^

Yoshi surveyed the cafeteria. The SEES members were sitting together. Yoshi wasn't very hungry, he hadn't had an appetite sense last night. He didn't bother buying anything. As he made his way throughout the crowded cafeteria, a senior boy walked up to him. His face was rough, and his hair was rustled. He had a certain menacing look to him.

 

"Hey, kid." The older boy pushed Yoshi up against the wall and was holding him by the collar. "Gimma' yo' lunch money. 'For I beat it outta' yo'."

 

Yoshi, who was just steps away from the table, felt as if he was lucky. He had the entire SEES to back him up now.

 

"Hey guys, help!" He yelled, facing the table that occupied the SEES members. Yoshi was oblivious to the conversation being held at the table.

Takahiro was sitting on the same side of the table as Haruto. He was unusually quiet because the pain in his chest was so great. The doctors had barely managed to patch him up before he bolted out of the hospital. He wouldnt let other people take care of him like that no matter how great the injury. He had insisted on going to school that day because he didnt want to make a big deal out of his injuries. He could barely move or talk but he didnt care. The worst part of it all was that he was saved by Yuki.

 

He stared over at Yuki. 'Why did he save me?' he thought to himself. In response to Haruto's question he couldnt say anything, after all he could barely remember anything from the night before.

 

OOC: Just pretend this goes after Rinne's last post

Katou jumped to the chance, he wanted to prove to the other members that he could help out, out and inside Tartarus. He walked up to the one that had Yoshi pinned and said "Leave. Him. Alone." Katou shot the older boy a dark, scary, hypnotic glare then said "Go away, and leave us alone." Katou kept the glare going, if that didn't work, he was going to have to fight.

[Zexaeon]

Yuki glanced up from the table after having given his order. Ah, what a surprise. The wuss was being harrassed, by a bigger, stronger-looking individual.

 

Sighing, he got to his feet, voluntering to be the one to intervene.

 

He calmly laid a hand on the thug's shoulder, speaking over it in an intimidating voice. "Really, now. Do you think that's appropriate school conduct? You might want to be careful about which serpents you try to step on. You never know when you might be bitten to death." he spoke lowly, his small, harmless-looking cafeteria knife in his hand.

 

He would make a deadly weapon of it, for certain.

[Encalade Shinamisu]

"Well Yuki, that was an interesting night, eh? And Haruto? You feeling any better?"

He leaned in towards the table's center and said,

"Dig in, I brought bento boxes..."

 

He looked to Yuki...

 

"I sensed a distubance last night, in our battle. I have reasons to believe it had to do with you..."

 

He looked on to Haruto...

 

"As for you, you could have asked for healing you know? And not go through the drama of this all..."

 

He looked to the whole group...

 

"Anybody find anything interesting last night, I did..."

 

He saw Yoshi and Katou, and gave Katou a menacing look.

 

"Don't you ever mention that outloud!"

 

He said in his ear...

 

Then he turned to the idiot roughing up Yoshi...

 

"Get offa him you straight F's drop-out-to-be bum, before you get hurt... We all know your knowledge cannot compare to anyone's at this table. Now leave..."
