{S} Pyrographic Artist, Joan (New Effect) {S}

I made this card just now when I checked through Father Wolf's Custom Image Archive. I checked through Omni's new images and they were further than awesome, so I chose this awesome pic. So enough talk, lets get to reason. So basically this card is a support for FIRE Decks and is a powerful 1 too. So open your eyes wide and check it out:

 

 

Pyrographic Artist, Joan

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned except in Attack Position by removing from play 2 FIRE monsters in your Graveyard. This card gains DEF equal to the combined Level of the monsters removed from play by this effect x200. Once per turn, you can switch this card to Defense Position to choose and activate 1 of the following effects:

- Draw 1 card from your Deck, if it is a FIRE monster, discard 1 card from your opponent's hand.

- Discard 1 card from your hand to inflict 800 points of damage to your opponent. This effect can only be activated three times during the duel. When this card is destroyed, you can add 1 removed from play FIRE monster to your hand.

A lot of unneccesary effects in there, but at least its decent.

Your trying to hard -_-' seems like a bunch of random effects. First it increase its defense? Then does other crap about inflicting damage to your opponent. The last line is useless, most monster don't stay on the field for more then 1 turn, unless you can get out a bunch of random fire monster then the cost is not worth it.

Pretty good, I suppose. Like LostLetter, I think you went a little overboard with the effect(s), plural. One or two good ones would have sufficed.

 

Anyways, the image is pretty good (Daddy Wolf is still at it, I see), so no problems there.

 

Just try and work a bit more on the synergy of the card with its name and effect - I fail to see how an 'artist' works with weird effects like that.

 

If you don't mind me asking, why did you pick artist? She doesn't look like one to me...
