atxe Posted April 24, 2009 Author Report Share Posted April 24, 2009 Calm down dude.....first of all, ice block doesn't need to be an effect monster, it would be an effect monster if it had a special action to perform. However to prove this I will also say that there are official cards that have effect-like descriptions and are not of the effect type. Check it out if you don't want to believe me.Then, to decide what type the ice block should be, I looked at an official card, a shield like card that was very similar and was of the warrior type.As you know I am new to this forum, and I did not know that the picture was overused.these and many more reasons ....... where are they? So basically we conclude that this thread doesn't fail at all. For a moment, I thought that rage! was directed at me. xD Well, actually, Ice Block can't be summoned unless he's an effect monster - otherwise, his text is very pretty and decorative, but useless. Ice MaidenLevel 7WATERSpellcaster-Type/EffectThis card cannot be destroyed by battle with a FIRE monster. Any battle damage you take from a battle involving this card and a FIRE monster is reduced to 0. When this card is sent to the Graveyard, you can Special Summon up to 3 "Ice Block" from your Ice BlockLevel 3WATERAqua-Type/EffectThis card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned, except by the effect of "Ice Maiden". SWhen this card is Summoned, switch it to Defense Position. You might want to try that. Note that in Ice Maiden, you don't say where the Ice Block(s) are coming from. You could make them Tokens, if you wanted... I still say they're underpowered. I know your new but if someone tells you its bad correct it. Ask for help. Preferably from someone who's not so blunt. (In case your wondering I'm not so blunt) Ice Block: I don't think an ice block really counts as a warrior. Also The card texts makes it seem like an effect monster. Finally Not to many people here like Normal Monsters. (I personally don't see the big deal, unless they're not part of a set, in which case you might as well never post it.) Thanks to all of you for your suggestions, I decided to redo the cards, renewing the pics etc. Will post again tomorrow. When this monster is sent from the field to the graveyard, special summon up to 3 'Ice Block' monsters from your hand or deck. 7.5/10 Ice Block Make it an effect Monster This card cannot be set. When this card is summoned it is switched to face up attack position. This card can only be special summoned to the field by the effect of 'The Ice Maiden'. 7/10 Nice cards ATXE for your first ones.
