Sid's thought of the day.

Sid.

Recommended Posts

Im just gonna put up several theories that i think about during the day...
When you lie to someone, arent you stealing their knowledge in a way?

Without knowledge, how does this victim wish to learn?

And without a person being taught, how does this person wish to live?

So isnt lying hurting another persons life?

I would say so.

'When you lie to someone, arent you stealing their knowledge in a way?'

No way. You can't 'steal' somebody's knowledge that easy.

'Without knowledge, how does this victim wish to learn?'

First you learn, and then you start gaining knowledge. Lol.

'So isnt lying hurting another persons life?'

Nope, it doesn't hurt a person's life, it only hurts feelings in a bad way. But meh, life isn't feelings only.

why would anyone care about what someone else they dont know thought and who could actualy be bothered to post it as a thread.

=P oh yeah and it doesnt make him an idiot for expressing his feelings if that were the case you would be considered an idiot to because you expressed your feelings by sharing with us your thought for the day =P

I have to say, I'm impressed. I agree with Sid, if you lie, you are telling not the truth but just a spin of the truth, once a person's starts telling you something, you lie, then boom. You kind of 'steal' a secret or whatever of their's, then by speaking the truth of it, you hurt people.

Yeah, doesn't make much sense, I know...

No' date=' people are kind enough to agree, and bad enough to fake it. I actually really agree, also, no thoughts are known as 'wack' or 'weird' or whatever. All thoughts are like lives, they're valuable ;)

True.

Very good book.
I know this may not be true for some members here,

But why is it that some people reveal their true selves behind a screen,

Rather then straight in someones face?

Why can some people cover up their own identity in real life,

And act like this is their true self on the internet?

I have a theory that if you do this too much,

If you differentiate from your two identities,

You end up losing your own TRUE identity.

You end up losing yourself.

So why not be the funny man on the online?

Why not be the deep person in school?

Embarrassment is one of the major reasons.

And if your friends judge you based on what your personality is,

Then they can jack off.

Everyone should have a chance to show their true self, wherever it may be.

"When you lie' date=' you steal someones right to the truth." -Baba, [i']The Kite Runner

Ugh, I remember that scene. The author basically took the concept of victimless crimes and reworded it to make it sound smart.

And if you haven't read that book yet' date=' go read it. One of the best books I have ever read.

I hated it, to be honest. The main character was thoroughly dislikeable, his actions made no sense - "I feel bad because of what I did to my lifelong best friend, so I'm going to make it better by framing him for robbery, getting his father fired, throwing them out on the street, and never seeing them again!" - and the ending was, to say the least, horribly contrived and predictable.

Why is it that many people simply disregard others?

Why not give someone a chance to prove themselves worthy of being alive,

Rather then being considered a total mistake?

So many people at my school are perfectly nice and kind, yet they act a little strange.

But even though people say their ugly, a true person would look past that and look inside.

I give people chances, why not everyone else?

Who gives them the right to judge?

Maybe.
Why is it that movie makers have movies in which people just die?

Ten min. after that person dies,

You wont remember.

But the cruel, dark, cold truth about death is this.

If you die,

You wont wake up.

And why do many people not care about this,

Yet when faced with a Life - Death situation,

They start to cry?

Why not fear death all the time?

Death is cold my friend. Cold.

And everyone who dies should be remembered.

Everyone.

Yet most people tend to forget these people.

Example,

I saw a homeless guy on the street couple days ago,

Remembered his face. I always remember faces.

Saw his name in the news of being shot. A hobo. Shot.

I'll always remember him.
