Lol the BG is the focal *claps*

 

Yeah... that's what made me think that this was just stock + a few crappy effects. =/

 

Not really.

I manipped a lot of things.

Those "Crappy" effects took at least 6 layers >_> for just 2 lightnings.

The wind took at least 3 layers.

I added a lot of curves' date=' adjustment layers & focal adjustments.

Took about 20+ layers. Also Vexelized some other things.

Make something better then come & judge =/[/size']

That's why it's a wrong idea to post artworks in YCM.

Riiight. I won't every deny your skill = FACT.

But you don't always do everything better, than everyone else. Knowing how and showing that you do doesn't make it good. And it never will.

 

And while I may not be as "GOOD" as you. I do know this;

- You totally messed up your focal. A focal, from what I know is not the "intended focus" but rather "what catches your eye". You failed horribly at that. The BG catches my eye way more than your "intended focus".

- Your effects while as you said "took skill", didn't do you very well. AT ALL.

 

Congratz. Effects don't make the graphic, the end result does.

How the funk is this Intermediate? It's some basic effects, grad. maps/photo filters and some other adjustment layers on a stock?

 

Icy has by far better end result- don't start funking pumping your ego with "OMG I WAS INTERMEDIATE AND HE WAS SOLID NOVICE1!!1" because your shitty rating system means nothing- treat GFX just like art- it's how good it looks at the end, not how good it was when you went through it. And seriously, never post artwork on YCM? Seriously, go funking fuel your ego somewhere other then this forum because to be honest I'm sick of your "I'm better then you, I'm this, you're that" attitude.

Icy:: Look at the wind's position. Look at the guy in the right. >_> Which has more wind? The BG. Therefor it's not really something you should worry about. When adding a motion to the background so it seems as if he was speeding it is always said to ignore the BG. It's not my problem people don't read about styles/etc.

I didn't fail. Maybe to you I did but to other people which I have contacted through PM(not in this site) & also through normal thread discussion.

 

Faint:: It's by the looks of the signature, not how many layers. I got good comments from people even better than me twice or even more. It's actually not ego, it's the truth.

I get pissed off when people don't realize what's actually inside the artwork & start saying stuff like what you just did. Rather than saying crappy effects, give suggestions & advices. Or are you the kind that just likes to show off & up to his ass? >_> You broke many GFX rules (not in this crappy site obviously).

 

Designers shouldn't be classed but they do it anyway, so Hallelujah.

I care? o wait. No I don't care actually. Ego? Okay so?
