I was contemplating on whether I should get an I-Pod Touch. Is it worth the money? Do you have to pay for internet service?

I don't think it's worth the money. I runs out of battery really fast, the apps are somewhat lame, and it costs a sh*t load.

My mother has one, there is tons of free aps as well. If you have wifi you can do a whole lot of stuff. Its worth it trust me.

I got a 16g last Christmas, along with a $40 warranty. In March, it broke due to water damage, that the warranty didn't cover >.>

 

But it was awesome while it lasted, I recommend it. (Just be sure not to accidentally spill coffee on it. D:)

waste of cash. if you're just going to listen to music, buy a regular ipod. touch is just extra crap you don't use with a jacked up price. also you can't watch films = fail.

It is overpriced, incredibly overpriced but if you have the money buy either the 8 or 16 GB versions. If you just want music get an Ipod Classic.

With an 8g, that's like 10hrs of video and like 1750 songs I think? Eh, but it is about $70 cheaper... Thanks for opinions. I can get any regualr music player for like $20 bucks, but the Touch has more features.

Its worth the money, internet is completely free (unless you are at a place that charges to use the internet as a whole), there are almost 1 billion apps available for download, plus its just fricken awesome!

if you want apps, then yeah. If not, get a classic or nano, both do videos and music now and are cheaper, but touch has the apps. It all depends on if you use them

I can't imagine how you would get that many. Then again, when did you start? .-.

iPod touch? Yeah it's pretty good though there are some cons:

-Touch screen buttons are too small. So sometimes when you type, your finger may be too big for the keys so you end up typing 2 keys at once which is a bummer.

-Touch screen keys sometimes do not work even if you keep pressing it (this happens a lot, I think its normal for it to happen)

-Internet connection is quite slow but that depends on your connection. Sometimes you gotta wait 20 seconds for the page to load, especially if you watch youtube in the iTouch, it may take time to fully load.

 

But wait! There are some pros too:

-It is user friendly, you'll be able to know the Interface in no time!

-Fun browsing pictures, plus with the touch screen, it's quite interactive.

-Listening to music and watching videos is awesome and has a wide space in storage.

 

Trust me, it's worth it. There may be some cons but not really of a big deal.
