"When this card is tuned' date=' get one Level 4 to your hand." is a fully acceptable effect according to Mr. Spaplespon here.

I'm still disagreeing.

I said that concept and effect mattered... and that is just s***.

Plus, what I said was similar to what Icy said in the first place, but I don't see you disagreeing with him. Know why? Because you know that he'll pwn your ass so hard you won't be able to feel it for a month.

I am disagreeing with Icy, and he knows of that. By saying that concept and effect matter, you are in effect saying that everything else can be disregarded - except for proper grammar. What you don't seem to realize is that OCG is grammar, a separate grammar used only on cards - hence the name. Saying that OCG isn't important is equal to saying that grammar isn't important.

It matters to a degree... what I'm saying is that you can have a card with perfect OCG that just sucks ass and you can have a card with fairly sloppy OCG that is extremely good. Do you see what I'm trying to get at here?

It's very unlikely, but yes, it could happen. If the writer focuses enough on the card to make perfect OCG, the card is most likely quite good as well. Also, if the OCG is "fairly sloppy" then the card isn't extremely good - decent, at the very most. But I see what you mean, and I concur.

Ok...

Just to set this straight. I believe OCG should be enough to communicate the effect. Like what Wolf said, just a little more laid back. And not as strict as Nitton. But of course, the more complex the effect is, the stricter I get. Which is when I do like OCG corrections.

Effects > OCG.

Seriously, if some card had the greatest effect ever, but he had bad OCG, would that be a bad card? No wai.

Still, the thing needs to be understandable.

Minor errors for me, are trivial.

As a member I focus a lot of my card making and card rating on OCG. However, I think that originality is more important. The problem with OCG is that it provides a technical grounds for rating so that you don't actually have to think about the card. Don't just rate the OCG, but by all means make it part of your rating

In my opinion it is because one of the main points of this website is to post realistic looking cards (pop culture or Realistic) and hone your card making abilities without correct ocg that is not achivable and also wierd looking cards are not very nice to look at :D

THANKS FOR YOUR OPINIONS IM SURE EVERYONE CARES ESPECIALLY SINCE YOU DON'T CARE TO USE PROPER GRAMMAR WHILE DISCUSSING GRAMMAR.
