Skyson
The makings of a set I plan on developing over time. Based on dice roll and coin flip effects in general, as I feel that effects of this nature are (for the most part) highly underpowered and/or unrecognized. So, a few cards to kick off my theme. It's a work in progress, and I came up with these ones in specific today. Spring Soldier - WIND2/Warrior/EffectIf this card is in your Graveyard during your Standby Phase, you can toss a coin twice. If both results are Heads, Special Summon this card to your side of the field.500/600 Trick Lance - FIRE2/Warrior/EffectWhenever this card battles, roll a six-sided die. This card's ATK becomes 500 x the number rolled until the end of the Damage Step.0/800 Level Blast - SpellToss a coin a number of times equal to the total combined Levels of face-up monsters you control. Inflict damage to your opponent equal to the number of Heads x 200 points. Then, return 1 face-up monster you control to the bottom of the owner's Deck. New Cards (4/30) Sandstorm Sphere - DARK4/Rock/EffectWhen this card is destroyed, toss a coin. Activate 1 of the following effects based on the result:- Heads: Special Summon 1 Level 4 EARTH monster from your Deck.- Tails: Special Summon 1 Level 4 WIND monster from your Deck.1000/1600 Luster Sphere - FIRE4/Rock/EffectWhen this card is destroyed, toss a coin. Activate 1 of the following effects based on the result:- Heads: Special Summon 1 Level 4 LIGHT monster from your Deck.- Tails: Special Summon 1 Level 4 DARK monster from your Deck.1000/1600 Polar Sphere - WIND4/Rock/EffectWhen this card is destroyed, toss a coin. Activate 1 of the following effects based on the result:- Heads: Special Summon 1 Level 4 WATER monster from your Deck.- Tails: Special Summon 1 Level 4 FIRE monster from your Deck.1000/1600 Swift Assailant - WIND6/Warrior/EffectDuring each of your End Phases in which this card did not attack, roll a six-sided die. Both players must discard from their hands any monster(s) with a Level equal to the result.2000/1700 The Emperor's Throne - Continuous SpellRoll a six-sided die. Add a number of Throne Counters to this card equal to the result. You can Tribute Summon a monster from your hand by removing a number of Throne Counters from this card equal to the number of Tributes required. You cannot Special Summon Level 5 or higher monsters. Destroy this card when there are no Throne Counters on it. Fragment Warp - Continuous TrapSpecial Summon 1 monster from your Graveyard. It cannot be Tributed. When this card is removed from the field, destroy that monster. Whenever the Summoned monster battles or activates its effect, roll a six-sided die. If the result is a 5 or 6, negate the attack or effect and destroy this card. Bluff - Counter TrapNegate the activation and effect of a Spell Card and destroy it. Then, roll a six-sided die. Activate the appropriate effect based on the result: -1: Discard 2 cards. -2: Your opponent draws 2 cards. -3: Draw 1 card. -4: You take 1200 damage. -5: Skip your next Battle Phase. -6: Destroy 1 card you control. If you cannot activate the corresponding effect, skip your next turn. Any comments, criticism, etc. are appreciated. I plan to update this on a relatively consistent basis. Link to comment
Freezyefc
Heh.. a fellow "gambling" fan, I see.. :) I agree that gambling cards should be more prominent.. Level Blast seems ok, but Trick Lance - FIRE is just.. wow.. idk for me 400 instead for 500.. Link to comment
enzane
I can sense your a risky person.... like Joey hence the Gambling Cards. I think they are very good and I think Trick Lance effect seems Ok, 3000 should be the largest no. if you made it x500 but I bet chances of getting a Snake Eyes (6 in a dice) would be slim unless you're lucky so i'm okay with x500. Freezyefc
The reason why i suggested 400 is bcos when it battles it can activate its effect (ie if it attacks or is attacked), for no cost and has 1/2 a chance to become at least a 2000ATK beast. But then again, it has 0 ATK to begin with, and if its reduced to 400 it's not that powerful (only 1/3 of a chance to become at least 2000ATK). Link to comment
Skyson
The chances are what, in my opinion, offset Trick Lance's effect. Updated today with 7 cards. Link to comment
