~ON HOLD - CONCENTRATING ON ARRANCARS WRATH~

 

Welcome everyone! In this thread, I shall eventually document all of my 'Tales Of' card sets (Namco's hit RPG videogame series for those who don't know) for you all to see! The cards I make will have their own sets which correspond with the game which they are from. The games are as follows, with the names of their respective set written next to them:

9. Tales of Innocence - Set Name N/A

10. Tales of Vesperia - Set Name N/A

11. Tales of Hearts - 'The Power Of Soma'

12. Tales of Graces - 'Trials Of Knighthood'

13. Tales of The Tempest - 'Inner Beasts Unleashed'

 

The set names coloured Green I have already started, and already have a card (or some cards) up for that set. Those coloured Amber are those in the works, and those in the Red have been planned and haven't been made as of yet. Those with 'Set Name N/A' haven't even been thought of yet, but keep checking to see if your favourite game in the series has changed colour, as cards from that game will be appearing soon! All will eventually be started, and all will be eventually finished, and each will be updated as I feel like it (such as one day I could update my Eternia set, and the next day I could update my Tempest set etc). Anyways, without further ado, I shall now give thanks for reading this post and hope that you enjoy these sets, and give me comments on whether they are bad or good etc, and what could be improved.

 

P.S, If you request a character from one of the games to be made into a card, I may make it quicker. In other words, I sometimes take requests depending on if I can be bothered. =)

This series of cards is based on the Nintendo DS game 'Tales of Hearts'. This is one of my favourite Tales Of games, and I've been playing it a lot recently, so this one I started first xD Enjoy the set!

12. Tales of Graces

 

This set is based on the newly announced Wii Tales game, 'Tales of Graces'. The game is not out yet, but I have made the main character into a card and will soon make all the characters into cards once the game gets released.

13. Tales of The Tempest

 

This set is based on the so called flop and failure of the series, 'Tales of the Tempest'. The game, in my opinion, wasn't really that bad, and I really liked the concept and character design. Too bad the game was rushed by DIMPS... =( Anyways, here's my Tempest set, which will eventually feature all the characters and several Lycanthe forms for those who have them. Enjoy!

secondly, these are pretty nice cards, but there's a little something in the pics that I don't like,

I think it's the lines that were drawn to separate the character on the pic from the background... Anyway!

You mean the fact that I ripped the picture from it's own background and placed it on another makes it look odd? As all 3 characters were on a background containing other characters etc, and I had to erase the background using photoshop and place them on a new, more suitable background. I'll have to try and fix that.

There's updates now people! Thanks to those two people who posted ^_^

 

Now, what do you people think of these cards at the moment? I'm just about to go on to making Reid Hershel and Farah from Eternia, Caius Qualls and Rubia Natwick from Tempest, and Innes and Kunzite from Hearts. As you can see currently, they all work together quite splendidly. (Although Asbel is a tad OPed, but meh, he is the DaD of the 'Tales' deck xD)

Yeah, Asbel and Caius are my favourites, but the other four still look nice =) xD and yeah, the pics of Caius and Asbel were both much higher quality than the other four, hence why they look better.

I'm honestly about to give up on these now. No one really cares about this topic, nor does anyone like them by the looks of things. Not enough popularity to make me want to carry on.

 

Ugh, and there's me thinking that if I posted the cards I make on a forum designed for the sole purpose of showing cards you make, that I'd actually get comments etc and people would look at them. Looks like I was sadly mistaken... Now I know why there was a mass desertion of this forum one time. Makes me wish I never returned =/

your response in the other thread, I didn't even know you had Tales cards :P(until I saw your sig) your cards always sink to the bottom real fast and all the Naruto and Bleach cards stay ontop.(don't worry, all my cards sank to the 3rd page by now(or 2nd), but I don't want to bump until I fix something)

Great cards(Absel's card is still my favorite, must be the background) bookmarked waiting for the other cards ^_^

 

sorry I can't comment much on OCG but I am terrible at OCG for now, however mind if I pitch in a few Tales Character's from Symphonia and Symphonia 2(Symphonia is my first game so I feel like I have to do atleast one ;_;)

I hope I didn't seem like a horrible person back there xD I was just a little peeved that no one was looking at this topic, but now they are! =D

 

This is a miracle! And yeah, you can help me if you wish, but I might fix the cards a little etc for when they are posted in the gallery. Now that I know people want these cards, I'll finally make Reid and Farah, but it may take a bit of time to update as I have many exams at the moment.
