it doesn't look like the effects are really consuming the render, they just make 2 separate focals

It's nice, but the colors kinda ruin it. Try to change them a bit.

People make mistakes with genders since it's the internet :?

Anyway, some smudging on the colored areas would look good. A cracky smudging type :). Some C4D's make it loose it's concentration though :?
