HORUS Posted April 6, 2007 Report Share Posted April 6, 2007 I'm building a Lava Golem based burn deck. i need some burn strategies that do a lot of damage. currently, my strategies include: - using Gravity Bind and waiting for my opponent to summon 5 monsters and then using 3 Just Desserts and Ceasefire. - 3 Blasting the Ruins. - Summon Lava Golem, wait two turns, activate Ring of Destruction and Barrel Behind the Door to inflict 8000 damage. HORUS Posted April 6, 2007 Author Report Share Posted April 6, 2007 thats good, but i'd have to put Dark Magician, Dark Eradictor Warlock, and Magical Blast in my deck and it would be hard to get them all. when i'm trying to defend myself. good, but not easy to use. HORUS Posted April 6, 2007 Author Report Share Posted April 6, 2007 well, one is that i play Gravity Bind so my opponent just summons monsters to keep his hand small. then i use Just Desserts and Ceasefire to do a lot of damage. in one duel with JD and Ceasefire ive done 10500 Damage just w/ those cards. or i'll summon a pitiful monster, pretending i dont know how to play, and when they attack with Blue eyes or something, MAGIC CYLINDER! Same thing with Lava Golem. do some damage with its effect and when it attacks, MC! ive got 2 Mask of Darknesses in there to get MC back multiple times. Ultimajk Posted April 6, 2007 Report Share Posted April 6, 2007 One burn combo thats been used againts me is Gaia Soul the Combustible Collective along with backfire. They tribute 2 fire monsters with for his ability and goes up to 4000 ATK and me taking 1000. Then the card already has fairy meteor crush. Needless to say that 4000 really took a nice chunk out of my life points even with my defender on the field. Then at the end of the turn Gaia is destroyed and i take 500 more. Maddog15, very good! i didnt know winged kuriboh lv 10 was that good! i could do much more than 4000 damage with that. when i play my brother with that deck, he summons a lot of high powered monsters (like 1900 and up!) so i could use that and he would be smashed! take a rep point! Shaco Posted April 6, 2007 Report Share Posted April 6, 2007 dark eractor and magical blast potental 2 do 200 pts of daqmage each turn I know you've already said you'd need to get the cards, but I realized another strategy based on that Dark Eradicator Warlock Toon Table of Contents x3(Some other card with toon in it, probably Toon Gemini Elf if you're running a Spellcaster Deck) That's 3000 points of damage and if you have any card that uses Spell counters on the field, that's an automatic 3 Spell counters on em.
