Hello there. Gonna do my usual style of review.

Axel - Holy crap! Nothing to say. OCG is damn near perfect. ATK and DEF are nice and the effect is well suited and neither too strong or too weak. Pretty good. I am impressed. Have yourself a rep for your efforts! Only thing I could possibly maybe ever so slightly point out is that tributing needs a capital and I am pretty sure one is meant to say 'points' after any amount of ATK, DEF or Life Points. Oh, and opponents is missing an '. Hehe. I am soooo picky.

Also, this isn't a mistake but I am just wondering, at the moment a player can Normal Summon Axel; is that what you wanted? If not then you would just have to add that condition in.

 

Xigbar - Pretty good as well. With the "During each of your Standby Phases you control this card" there is no need to say "you control this card". The effect will obviously only be usable by the person who controls it (unless stated otherwise) so this does not need to be stated. Capitalise 'card' for Trap Card. Also, for the next sentence where you have the 1 Trap, Spell and monster effect; monster should be capitalised as you are talking about a Monster Card. In other words:

 

By discarding 1 Trap, 1 Spell and 1 Monster Card from your hand, this card can attack your opponent directly during your Battle Phase.

 

That's how I think it should be.

 

Those were just some small, rather insignificant points though. They are both very good and I do think you should continue to make more. Good luck.

Not bad, not bad at all.

 

My only suggestion is to lessen Xigbar's cost of attacking directly. I mean, he dies already, who wants to send three cards from their hand to the graveyard to do that? Short of the finishing blow, I suppose. Perhaps a monster and a trap, or a spell and a trap, or he doesn't die. I think just one eliminated would be fine.

 

Course, that's just me, perhaps his easy summoning conditions...

 

Perhaps you should increase his level by one as well. Makes it slightly harder to abuse synchro-wise (I think...). Most of the good synchros without conditions are level eight, but then again level 1 tuners are few and far between anyway.

 

...And it's slightly off-topic.
