Koa'ki Meiru Useful cards or Worst cards ever?

Eh, the decktype just completely shoots itself in the foot.

You have either two choices here. Either main a terrible -1 that is completely useless unless you have a Core Chimera on the field, or run an inconsistent deck filled with others of the typing you want in order to draw into a decent amount of rocks when you get the rock one, a decent amount of fiends for the fiend one, etc etc.

On the other hand, as random tech (like the Dragon in a Dragon deck) the individual Core Chimeras can find some use. But bringing them all together and trying to run a deck with them is a sure fire way to find yourself losing duels more often then winning.

Remember Guys, The Koa'ki Meiru cards have more support coming in Ancient Prophecy (which will help A LOT) and we also might get Bergzak too.

Koa'ki Meiru War Arms is bad though.....unless we get Bergzak....but still..

The Koa'ki Meirus work really well at making other types of decks anti-meta (like what Powerhand does for Gadgets), but it is really hard to maintain card advantage with them effectively. Luckily Koa'Ki Meiru Rock will help with that. I still feel that the Koa'Ki Meirus would be much more playable if they had a Toolbox card besides Koa'ki Meiru Rock. I'm really hoping that this archetype will eventually be good because I actually want to try out a Koa'Ki Meiru deck. Also, as for War Arms, I don't see him useful because he has low ATK and doesn't have an Anti-Meta effect.

I don't like him either, his effect is really random and for the most part, useless >_>. The only use he might have is to be able to be revealed to keep Bergzak out. But If we don't get Bergzak....Useless...

I want to know what people think about the new Koa'ki Meiru cards. I think they are cool but, everyone tells me they suck. What do you think?

Koa'ki Meirus were made to counter the most popular decks (lightsworn, DAD, glad beast), specifically targeting special summons. The Koak'ki Meirus can wipe away the opponent's monsters as they are special summoned. Scince they rely on the Iron Core of Koa'ki Meiru, putting 3 copies of that and the immediate disposal would be great, and also the Koa'ki Meirus can discard a monster of their own type as well, so putting in 2 copies or more of each would be wise. With the Iron Core in the grave, you can add it to your hand instead of drawing. Reckless Greed is a great card for the deck due to the lack of hand when adding back the Iron Core. Scince you don't draw when adding back Iron Core, Reckless Greed's cost won't effect you. Okay, so here's the list:

Monsters(19):

Koa’ki Meiru Valafar x2

Koa’ki Meiru Drago x3

Koa’ki Meiru Guardian x2

Koa’ki Meiru Ice x2

Koa’ki Meiru Powerhand x3

Kykoo the Ghost Destroyer

Thunder King Rai-Oh x3

D.D. Crow

Cyber Valley x2

Spells(12):

Iron Core of Koa’ki Meiru x3

Iron Core Immediate Disposal x3

Shrink x2

Giant Trunade

Heavy Storm

Enemy Controller

Book of Moon

Traps(12):

Bottomless Trap Hole x3

Mirror of Oaths x2

Threatening Roar

Mirror Force

Reckless Greed x3

Reckoned Power x2

Also consider Dimensional Fissures to counter Lightsworns.

Sir, Shapesnatch is good with CEM

As for KMs the only one of use right now is Guardian since his negate effect triggers in the grave, making it able to stop honests and kalats under skill drain. GG
