Plight of the Suffered

The time is 1500 B.C., and the loyal citizens of ancient Rome are not happy. They have time and time again been given opportunities to overthrow their government of gods, but none have succeeded. After being tortured senselessy for many a year, one man has taken upon the challenge of the gods, and strives to bring them to a fair playing field, where he, and any allies who should join him, will slay the evil doers.

 

His name is Vandor Creed, and after sealing a deal with Hades, he indeed has been given a last chance to defeat the remaining, and less trustworthy gods. The darkness he experiences now, will either lead he, and his comrades to the ultimate victory, or the most painful suffering to eve be experienced, for all of eternity in Daedulus. Should they fail, Zeus, Athena, Helios, Poseidon, Hades, and Ares will forever plaque these lands, and they will forever burn.

 

Your time is now, to seek out the help of Hades (be he trustworthy is not known) and form an alliance to bring down all on Mount Olympus. Travel back in time and experience the pain of the Suffered.

Character's First and Last Name: Vandor Creed

 

Character's Class: Warrior

 

Character's Weapon of Choice: Vandor wields a blessed sword and shield, created by Hades himself. In his right hand, the sword is approximately 7 feet long. It's handle glistens with black blood diamonds, and horns at either end of the hilt. Each kill made with Vandor's blade is marked by a blood scar on his blade's center.

 

The shield, appearing to be crimson like blood, is rounded and sports the same black diamonds as Vandor's blade's hilt, only centered on the shield, with a magical casing. The black diamonds of the shield symbolize two things:

 

1.) A large letter "R". Standing for rebellion.

2.) Each member of Vandor's family that was slain or tortured by the gods. There are 15 in total.

 

Character's Allegiance: Good

 

Character's Appearance: Vandor is approximately 6"3 in height. He has shaved his head completely and carved a crimson "R" in the back of it. He wears no shirt, but instead, a pair of golden chains (the same chains used by the gods to torture whomever they please), thrown across his chestin the shape of an "X". His legs are covered by heavy silver platelegs with golden knee caps. His feet are covered in whathe calls "Victory", the thick red hide of a legendary dragon he had once slain many years ago, now made into boots for combat.

 

Character's History: Vandor was only 3 months old when he was taken from his home. His father, Warren Creed, had also taken the god's challenge. He ahd failed, and his only possesion to give was his son (taken by Hades). the gods however, were not satisfied. They murdered Vandor's father and mother in cold blood in his home.

 

At age 17, Vandor was given the truth by Hades, as to why he grew up in such a wretched place. He stormed away from Hades in rage, and left for Rome. There, he met Quinton Moor (a legendary blacksmith, and good friend). Quinton showed Vandor the art of combat, and raised him in great skill for 11 years.

 

During a day of combat, Quinton had been shot down by a flaming arrow, launched by Helios' own personal archers. From then on, Vandor vowed he would personally see to the downfall of the gods, and to avenge those who have suffered their wrath for so long.

 

 

All applicants must provide a short sample fo their own role-playing work before their application will be reviewed. Please attempt to refrain from the use of script writing as much as possible.
