Griffin has incredible powers of observation and deduction, but prefers not to use or display them, instead choosing to keep up a facade of obliviousness. He generally doesn't care about much, and lets his mind wander.Griffin originated from Hoenn, and is a fairly accomplished trainer with a couple gyms under his belt. He doesn't really care much for battling at times, but he does enjoy competition, and came to the tournament for that reason. He is unaware that Jirachi is a legendary, never having come across a myth or evidence of such, and has always assumed she is just a very rare pokemon.
