Fancy Hero updated from effect monsters.

Great! Seems like you managed to find fitting effects for the cards, it's nice to see!

 

Fancy Hero Athena:

Considering that most probably it will be easy to have more Fancy Hero monsters on the field, its effect can be useful with proper protection.

Fancy Hero Erminguard:

Defence display supposed to be Defense Position. Seems like a good stalling monster... maybe a bit too good with its "cannot be destroyed in battle" effect, I can't really decide~

Fancy Hero Lucie:

Instead of "this card's Attack Power" , use "the ATK of this card". A Level 3 monster which can temporary have 2000 ATK... but because its original ATK is not too high, it seems balanced.

Fancy Hero Statica:

A good counter against FLIP effect monsters. A bit gimmicky, but good.

As for these, my rating is a nice 8.5/10. Keep up the good work! ^^

I'll try to think about some support cards, if you can provide an art(or arts, if I have more ideas). I'll PM you when I have my ideas! :)

A few OCG corrections and these four will be ready for battle (I'm actually quite interested in these, by the way; are you going to create fusions and counterparts to the other Heroes?):

 

Athena: Because "Fancy Hero" is an archetype with a distinct identifier (i.e., 'Fancy Hero' VS 'Hero'), you can say (as you did with Erminguard) '"Fancy Hero" monster' instead of 'monster with "Fancy Hero" in its card name' . . . here's a suggestion for some OCG:

 

This card can attack your opponent's Life Points directly if you control a "Fancy Hero" monster other than this card.

 

Erminguard: This is kind of powerful, but the metagame does seem to have enough ways to subvert her that she isn't horribly broken. Though . . . there could be some OCG changes (and overall simplification of effect). Try this, if you want:

 

This card cannot be destroyed by battle. While this card is in face-up Defense Position, your opponent cannot select a "Fancy Hero" monster you control other than "Fancy Hero Erminguard" as an attack target.

 

Note: I didn't know if you wanted Erminguard to be able to Marauding-Lock or not, so I wrote it so that the opponent could only select Erminguards to attack, rather than going the path of Marauding and wording it 'While this card is in face-up Defense Position, your opponent cannot select another "Fancy Hero" monster you control as an attack target.'

 

Lucie: So close! Just one little tweak and you have proper OCG -- change 'Attack Power' to 'ATK' in the card's effect and you're golden!

 

Statica: Good, good, but it can be made just a tad better (no offense -- I only mean to help). However, I'm having a bit of a stumbling point here . . . Y'see, I know that you want to make it so that the effects that activate when the face-downs are flipped don't work, but none of the cards I'm referencing really have anything good that doesn't seem too narrow or too clunky (that is, Ceasefire = too narrow; The Stern Mystic = too clunky). So, I'll just offer you what I can from my own head:

 

As long as this card remains face-up on the field, your opponent cannot Set Monster Cards face-down. If there is a face-down Monster(s) when this card is Summoned, flip them face-up (effects do not activate at this time).

 

But yeah, this is quite an inventive (and interesting) series you've come up with -- I'll be keeping an eye on this.

Also, there is the possiblity of using Erminguard and another Fancy Hero monster equipped with Raregold Armor for a similar locking style, I think...

Actually, while I was planning on Erminguard's effect, I too was confused on what shall I write about it....And Lucie too....2000 ATk for a LVL 3 monster for Battle only....hehheheh Though I have planned for a Skyscraper=Skyscraper 2 field magic card for the Fancy Heroes!

 

Just to clear out Erminguard's effect I would like to write that:

"When there are 1 or more monsters on your side of the field with "Fancy Hero" in their names except this card and this card is in Defence Position, it's effect are activated.

- your opponent cannot select a "Fancy Hero" monster as attack targets except "Fancy Hero Erminguard".

- this card will not be destroyed in battle.
