OMGAKITTY
...Because apparently The Fountainhead was a little too advanced... Anyway, last book in the Pendragon series. Anyone reading/finished it yet?If you finished it already, you're a freak, because it came out yesterday XD So lets just expand this to Pendragon in general. Good series is good. discuss? Felix Culpa
Umm... point a "Good series is good" redundant. I like the series, though I havent read the tenth book.
OMGAKITTY
Thank you, I hadn't realized my obviously redundant statement was obviously redundant. I've just started it...and MacHale has already explained all the mystery behind St. Dane and the Travelers. Now that that's out of the way, on with the adventure, eh? Guest Star
I used to follow this series. The last book in the series that I read was The Rivers of Zadaa or whatever it's called. EDIT: Actually, the last one I read was the one after The Rivers of Zadaa.

OMGAKITTY
they did not they are somewhere in the black hole flume thing where all the dead travelers go
Bobby is sucked down the Flume' date=' which then explodes. When he comes to, he's in a wasteland where he meets back up with all the other Travelers (alive and dead), and Uncle Press tells him there's still one final battle left. They are not dead -______- And if it wasn't clear enough on [i']Raven Rise, it is clearly stated in Soldiers that they are all alive and well. Felix Culpa
So can you explain to me exactly what St. Dane is?
OMGAKITTY
Travelers are actually spirits of humankind (meaning all intelligent life in Halla). When a being dies, the "spirit" within does not actually die, but instead goes to this area on the "outskirts of Halla" called Solara. There they have all the knowledge that has or ever will be known by the inhabitants of Halla. Their job is to help maintain the balance of Halla by giving people confidence to make decisions. (The example Press uses is visiting someone who has an important decision to make in their dream as a passed away loved one and telling them that they should choose the choice they feel is right, etc etc). Saint Dane is one of the oldest spirits of Solara (and apparently used to be friends with Press). For some reason, he got sick of mankind, and felt that they were inherently a dark race that couldn't make choices for themselves. So he began to guide them according to what he thought was right. He started out with good intentions, but somewhere down the road, his intentions became corrupt and now he does it just to gain power. Being from Solara, none of the Travelers can actually die. They pretty much just respawn at Solara. XDOh, and now all the Travelers can travel without flumes, as well as do all the fun morphing stuff Saint Dane does.
