Appropriate Pot -Spell-

Both players draw 1 card.

 

Simple, to the point, and obvious what it would be used for... dunno, is there another (real) card already of this?

I think Dark World has a card close to that, but why not simple and to the point and very balanced lol

Dark World Dealings (or something similarly-named) is the card you're thinking of, AbbatonStrikes, but . . . Indeed, this card does distill it to a much more userfriendly version (as would be expected of Dark World, both players had to discard one card from their hand by the card's effect; this, on the other hand, does not).

 

Though, and I find this funny, I have not seen a single Spell or Trap card in my life that has had you pay Life Points to draw more cards; I wonder why that is?

Thanks boss knew it was something like that. Maybe with things like Spirit Ryu and other cards you discard to the Graveyard to increase the ATK of a card...you could pay say 6000 life points in total and gain a 8000+ monster in 1 turn...just a thought.

Weak, I have seen a card called Broken Pot of Greed that does exactly the same. And some Dark World card does the same.

Because having your opponent draw 1 card is also as broken as a pot of greed

 

The effect is too simple and has almost no originality and no cost

 

If i am correct,this is a -1 since you use up a spell card to get another card and your opponent draws one also so it most likely won't be used
