K.B. strategist
Been a while since I've posted cards on here. =P All of my current Spirit Monsters and cards designed to support them. Currently there's no theme, they all just support already existing themes for spirits. [spoiler= Effect:]Neither player can Special Summon. While this card is face-up on the field, either player can Normal Summon or Set 1 additional time per turn. Each time a monster you control returns to its owner's hand, place 1 Spiritual Counter on this card. You can remove 2 Spiritual Counters from this card to skip your opponent's Battle Phase OR destroy 1 card your opponent controls. When this card is removed from the field, other than by its own effect, add 1 Spirit Monster from your Graveyard to your hand. During your opponent's Standby Phase, if no monsters were returned from a player's field to his/her hand during your last turn, destroy this card. Image Credit: http://rdh.deviantart.com/art/Spirits-7526961 [spoiler= Effect:]When this card is sent to the Graveyard by a card effect, you can reveal 1 Spirit Monster in your hand to Special Summon this card in face-up Attack Position. If you do this, remove this card from play when it is sent to the Graveyard. Once per turn you can halve the ATK of 1 monster you control to Special Summon 1 "Shadow Token" (Fiend-Type/DARK/Level 4/ATK ?/DEF 0) in face-up Attack Position. It's ATK is equal to the ATK of the monster whose ATK was halved. You can Tribute 1 "Shadow Token" you control to Normal Summon 1 additional time this turn. Image Credit: Johnsu, DeviantArt I'm not too sure about the wording for "Its ATK is equal to the ATK of the monster whose ATK was halved", so if anyone can think of a better way to express the same effect please mention it. [spoiler= Effect:]If this card is used as a Synchro Material Monster, all the other Synchro Material Monsters must be Spirit Monsters. When you take Battle Damage while you control no monsters, reveal 1 Spirit Monster from your hand to Special Summon this card in face-up Attack Position. Then, inflict damage to your opponent equal to the Battle Damage you took during this turn's Battle Phase. Each time a monster(s) you control is returned from the field to its owner's hand you can return 1 card your opponent controls to its owner's hand. Image credit: Johnsu, DeviantArt. [spoiler= Effect:]Each time a Spirit Monster is Summoned, place 1 Essence Counter on this card (max. 3). Spirit Monsters you control gain 500 ATK for each Essence Counter on this card. You can remove 1 Essence Counter from this card to Special Summon 1 "Fused Token" (Fairy-Type/LIGHT/Level 2/ATK 800/DEF 700). This token is treated as a Spirit Monster. When this card is destroyed, distribute counters on Spirit Monsters in your hand equal to the number of Essence Counters on this card. When a Spirit Monster with a counter(s) on it is Normal Summoned you can remove 1 counter from it to add 1 Level 4 Spirit Monster from your Deck to your hand. Image credit: http://www.wizards.com/magic/images/cardart/HM/Aether_Storm.jpg [spoiler= Effect:]This card cannot be Special Summoned. This card returns to the owner's hand at the End Phase of the turn that it is Normal Summoned, Flip Summoned or flipped face-up. You can remove 1 Spiritual Counter from a face-up "Etherealm" you control to return 2 Monster Cards from a player's Graveyard to the bottom of his/her Deck. You can activate this effect during either player's turn. When this card declares an attack, before Damage Calculation you can switch control of the attack target with this card, until the end of this turn. If this card is destroyed by a card effect you can return 1 card from your Graveyard to the top of your Deck. Image credit: pseudolonewolf, DeviantArt [spoiler= Effect:]This card cannot be Special Summoned. This card returns to the owner's hand at the End Phase of the turn it is Normal Summoned, Flip Summoned or flipped face-up. You can send 1 Spirit Monster from your hand to the Graveyard to select 1 Level 4 or lower Spirit Monster from your Deck and add that card to your hand. While this card is in your Graveyard, you can pay 800 Life Points to add this card from your Graveyard to your hand. If you do this, remove this card from play when it is sent to the Graveyard. Image Credit: http://media.photobucket.com/image/earth%20elemental/Eurekas_World/ElEmEnTaL/WhiteEvilSpirit.jpg?o=205 [spoiler= Effect:]This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by removing from play 1 Spirit Monster in your Graveyard. This card returns to it's owner's hand at the End Phase of the turn it was Special Summoned. This card can be treated as 2 Tributes for the Tribute Summon of a Spirit Monster. If this card is Tributed, you can remove from play 1 card on the field. The Fool
Pretty nice cards, i've always loved spirit monsters. Some of them could be worded better, but I can't point out exactly how you'd go about it >.> Just as a general suggestion of Archetypes, nearly all of the Spirit monsters have roots in Japanese mythology. (I.E. Tsukuyomi, meaning "Moon Goddess".)
