Jared walked to Ezekiel's door, the route now memorized, and knocked three times. "Ah, Jared," Ezekiel said, "Hello. I see your mind is clear." "I killed her. Sara. She's dead. Gone," Jared said."You're lying," Ezekiel said."I've come to negotiate," Jared said."There is nothing to negotiate. You are going to tell your opponent your moves? That is foolish," Ezekiel said."And your Knights are impartial, so what are you going to do?" Jared said. Ezekiel reached out and choked Jared. "Don't underestimate me, twerp. I could've killed you back then. This game has been going on for longer than you can imagine, and now all your pawns are gone. Left with a Knight, a Queen, and a few Rooks and Bishops. You can't win. Final Fantasy Revolution Posted June 9, 2009 Report Share Posted June 9, 2009 There was silence in the base for the next few minutes as Alugard flipped through the pages of an ancient looking text book. The particles of energy that were slipping into the floor were fueling some sort of weird mechanism in the middle of the room, it was at this time that it could be noticed that there were three other energy flows flowing to the machine. And sure enough there were four more cages around the one Brittney was in. One was empty, two had people passed out in them, but in the one to the right of Brittney there was a single person sitting in the shadows of the back left corner. "Better not waste your energy." The figure started to say, the only thing that could be seen in the shadows of the base was his crimson red eyes. "The more you act, the more energy you waste." The man pointed towards the floor he was standing on and then the floors she was standing on. The man said as he stood up straight and stopped using the cage to support him. "I don't really not anything about his plans but we are sure to find out sooner or later." The man walked into the shadows of his own cage. "Names Alugard by the way..." "I hope you were able to get your fill of information from that man." "Alugard" said as he stood up, whipped off his cloak's hood, and walked over to Brittney's cage. "That man, he is the REAL Alugard. But what better way to reveal my plan. This machine is stealing your powers and concentrating them into an amulet. Once worn I'll be able to use all your powers for my own ends!" The imposture Alugard turned back to Brittney. "And as a bonus, the great warlock Alugard's name gets tarnished forever!" The fatigue will set in soon, since now that you've started to move more then 4/6's of your power is gone." The imposture Alugard stated as he smirked. "If you haven't already noticed, I've stolen most of the real Alugard's powers. Which explains why I was able to use the spells I did to transport you here." The imposture explained as he lifted a book off the table and showed it to Brittney. "This is a book on a terrifying spell called Nebulous Dimensious, five monster/human sacrifices and I can use it to shatter a hole in this dimension!" The imposture Alugard let Brittney notice that there were five cages in the room. "Once there is a hole in this dimension I can summon the ultimate beast to wipe out this school and make me the ruler of this dimension. And after that, the human dimension will be mine as well!"
