Vennominaga says 'hi', and Cosmic Fortress Gol'Gar would like a word with you.

That being said, it seems I'm not the only one who fooled around with LV mechanics for my Pokemon . . .

However, there may not be as many OCG errors as there are technical difficulties.

Bulbasaur: The card taking double damage? Either you mean if it battles with a FIRE monster it dies at the end of the Damage Step, or battle damage you take from it is doubled, but . . . I haven't seen damage involved with monsters since I used the old Waboku (which DID stop monster destruction by that little footnote-in-the-rules). Also, you might just want to reference Armed Dragon LV3 for its effect, because unless you Call of the Haunted it it's not going to be around during the Standby Phase of the turn it was Summoned.

Ivysaur: Same quip about double-damage. Interesting, a damage effect . . . but again, Standby Phase is only after the Draw Phase, mi amigo. You might want to once again refer to the LV monsters.

Venusaur: Same quip about double-damage. Another interesting effect, though the opponent-drawing is risky I can see a combo (Greed is good), and beyond that nothing else to say.

Charmander: Erm, how are they going to inflict Direct Damage to you when you have a monster? I'm assuming you meant 'Effect Damage', the current term for damage dealt by effects (Direct Damage is Battle Damage dealt from a monster straight to the opponent).

Charmeleon: Once again the quip about double-damage.

Charizard: Semi-nomi? First time I've seen that in a Lv8 going by LV mechanics. Oh, well; the effect is solid enough that it doesn't suffer for it any in terms of 'broken' -- the usual death for it would be effects, so if it dies by battle then they're kind of asking for the damage (so by all means give the gift that keeps on giving).
