i posted a new thread with pics of mario and peach. i got the pics from Google so thats what i put the "image credit" as like i always do. i just got a post from another member asking me if the image credit should go to Nintendo, Sora, and Masahiro Sakurai.

 

have i been going about this image credit thing the wrong way? i have complete respect for the artist and teams(Nintendo etc...) that put together games, anime, etc...

 

i just don't know who is the original artist in most cases.

I would say provide a link to where you find each image if there is no artist known. If it's on PhotoBucket, just credit whoever uploaded the image, and mention that that's who you're crediting.

 

Crediting "Nintendo", "Sora", "Masahiro Sakurai", etc. is a bad idea because you don't know if they actually made the image.

thank you for clearing that up. it seems that nobody was or is offended by the credit i provided. i'll have to keep what you said in mind.
