Skyson Posted May 23, 2009 Report Share Posted May 23, 2009 Actually, the fixes that Santa's Envoy suggested are the best of anyone's that have been posted. Remove 7 Crystal Beasts while I have a Fissure in hand? Sure. This card could have 5000 ATK and 4600 DEF, I really couldn't care less because my Smashing Ground/Fissure (Yes, Crystal Beasts run those cards) will blow it up and net me +7 Crystal Beasts in my Graveyard, and allow laughter as I add a Rainbow Dragon to my hand and imediately play it from my hand in the same turn. Check that out, a first turn Rainbow Dragon! This is an obscene way to fuel the graveyard and mill out all of the potentially dead Crystal Beast draws. Crystal Beast Guardian? No. Crystal Beast OTK Engine? Yes. Thanks for the push towards making a highly overlooked deck into a killing machine. It's a great push, but a horrible idea in the fact that it's completely controllable and allows insane advantage. Preventing the activation of Spell Cards in the same turn that she's Summoned would at least make it seem more disadvantaged. Removing from play 7 Crystal Beasts in your Deck isn't really a cost by any means, it's a godsend. You just thinned 7 cards out of your Deck, and can start drawing into actual important support cards to pull off the Rainbow Dragon beatdown. Of course, you still have the potential for Torrential Tribute and even Crystal Raigeki if you're that desperate. It's way too broken in its current form, and I would actually trade my current Crystal Beast build to make the Rainbow Dragon build if this was ever released. That's a bad card if you summon it using the effect. Is this contest for bad effects towards the owner or something?
