Baroque in Paradise
This would be my first -- she is part of a Fate/Stay Night project I'm working on . . . and is one of the reasons why I'm lamenting the lack of unique-subtype support built into the system (as it stands, you have to basically resort to the rough equivalent of going into the image and editing it by hand, even if it's editing a URL for it). That's right, I'm using a subtype for her -- 'Servant'. However, I intend to put proper emphasis on it through the use of support cards (e.g., "Excalibur", "Avalon, "Shiro Emiya", and "I Ask Of You, Are You My Master?", to name three Saber-themed ones and the obligatory 'Summon From Deck' Spell Card). Picture made me feel good, because i was listening to emotional music while reading it.Equip card cannot be SEt, but. Quick play you mean. Also LP=Life Points, but this is your first card, so w/e Actually, they CAN. They just can't [normally] be activated like a Trap Card. You can set face-down any Spell or Trap card in your hand, but only Trap Cards and Quick-Play Spell Cards can be activated during any phase other than the Main Phase while they are set (and a Set Spell is also subject to the rule that it cannot be activated in the turn it is Set, though once again Saber Alter forces that rule aside). A lot of people around where I live set Normal Spells from their hand so that the ever-popular 'discard from hand' effects don't nail them ('Card of Destruction' and 'Morphing Jar' are popular, let's just put it that way). As for my effect, it essentially turns an Equip Spell of my choice into an analogue for a Continuous Trap Card . . . and the Equip Spell "Excalibur" will, when I'm finished making it, be incapable of being activated except by the effect of a 'Saber' (Saber or Saber Alter) -- thereby carrying on the theme of the series (Excalibur is kept hidden using an enchantment for most of the game and the anime (and the manga), as it is a Noble Phantasm and thereby reveals which famous hero Saber really is -- sorry for the series spoilers). It should also be noted that the FSN card series I'm working on puts a considerable amount of emphasis on Equip Spells (especially with Noble Phantasms being what they are, let alone Gate of Babylon and Unlimited Blade Works).
