Mobile Suit Gundam: The Demons of The Sphere (PG-16) [Started] Still Accepting

Well, a weird inspiration came to me: what would happen if the one year war lasted for two years, and the answer was a Zeon victory. So, this RP was born. Again, bear with my rules and descriptions before applying.

 

Rules:

1. If you want to join, you must know gundam pretty well . I don't want to have to explain mobile suit combat to some newbie (But you don't need to know the inner workings of minovsky physics either). Be prepaired to know some obscure designs as well, such as the Galbaldy Alpha from MS-X, or the SCVA-72 Thoroughbred, green sister ship of the white base and albion. These can be found by doing a little browsing on Mahq.net's gundam mecha sections.

2. Decent RP skill is required as well. You don't need to be a master RPer but you DO need to know what your doing. No one liners please.

3. No god modding or power playing, but you already knew that.

4. There are a limited amount of spots available here. only 15 of them.

5. application template will be posted at the end of the plot description.

6. I must ok your mobile suit. If it is a one of a kind model (like a gundam for instance), you must write a believable back story as to how your character came to pilot the unit.

7. Also, there are three factions in this RP, there are limited spots for each one.

8. I may not be able to respond to this thread for a few days, so be patient and don't think I've abandoned you all.

9. Not a rule-per say, but I dislike made ups so try not to use them unless there are no Universal Century MS that you can stand.

 

Plot (thank goodness):

The Zeon victory at the battle of A Bao A Qu was a turning point in what came to be known as the two year war. Soon after this battle, Zeon dployed its next generation of mobile suits; the Act Zaku, Pezun Dowadge, and the most fearsome of all, the dreaded Galbaldy Alpha. With these units, Zeon retook solomon and drove the Federation forces back to earth, where they dominated with new gelgoog ground variants and amphibious mobile suits. A peace treaty in overwhelming favor of Zeon was signed soon after the bloody battle of jaburo. With Zeon controlling more than three fourths of the Earth and nearly all of space, it seemed that soon the entirety of the Earth sphere would soon be flying the Zeon banner...

 

UC 0083: Enter the A.Z.R. or Azer as it is commonly called. The Asteroid belt Zeon Resistance that had formed underground in the far reaches of space, Made itself known by simultaniously capturing Zeon's asteroid base Axis, and moving it into a huge, artificial shoal zone made up of spent asteriod mines and other space junk nearly half the size of the earth sphere just a day's flight from the Martian gravity well, Sea of Fire. They soon made a huge defense net around Mars and completed the huge partial teraforming project on the planet around Olympus Mons. This Sparked a new war and the federation, Seething with anger at both forces for defeating it and accomplishing what they had failed to do, joined the war on its own side. In UC 0084, the war has raged on for nearly 14 months, with Azer slowly gaining some ground. this is where our story takes place.

 

Azer: Formed in response to Zeon victory in the 2 year war of UC 0079-UC 0081, the Asteroid belt Zeon Resistance (A.Z.R.) fights from their many bases in the asteroid belt, Earth shoal zones, and near Mars, including their main base, the captured Zeon asteroid fortress Axis. Their forces consist of both Federation and Zeon technology and soliders, and many of their ships contain mixed crews. They are the smallest out of the three factions in the new war in UC 0084, but they also have a huge advantage: knowing space better than anyone.

Azer uses upgraded federation and Zeon mobile suits and ships from the "One Year War" era. All Azer mobile suits have been upgraded to use Azer's ABR series of beam weapons, all of which fire distinctive blue beams. All ships and mobile suits are painted white, except for the Thoroughbred; the 18th autonomous Gryphon Corps, which retains its green coloration as a symbol of the Azer resistance and to distinguish the fact that it carries ace pilots. Aces also are allowed custom paintjobs on mobile suits. Azer is the only faction to fully mass produce the pegasus class assault carrier.

Named ships: Thoroughbred, Dolian( Dolos class refit), Stallion (pegasus)

The Characters in Azer will be stationed on the Thoroughbred. There are 5 spots for an Azer position.

 

Principality of Zeon: Zeon was the Victor in the last war, and as such is the largest of the three factions. Zeon uses the latest technology, and is ruled by the Zabi family. Zeon uses overwhelming numbers to crush opponents, and doesn't have very many ace pilots.

Zeon's ships and mobile suits come in many shapes sizes and colors, although all have a distinctive monoeye sensor.

Common MS: Act Zaku, Pezun Dowadge, Galbaldy Alpha

Common MA- Val Varo, Bigro, Apsalus, Neue Ziel

Common ships- Musai late model, Chivvay late model, Gwazine, Zanzibar 2

Named ships: Dolos, Gwadan (Gwazine), Gendion (Gwazine)

Zeon Characters will be stationed aboard the Gendion or her two musai escorts. there are 6 Zeon spots

 

E.F.S.F: The federation has begun to make a comeback after its defeat in December of UC 0080. They currently control sides 2, 6, and 7, and about one fourth of the earth. They are behind on the technology, but have very many experianced pilots.

the Federation uses the latest gm series mobile suits and has mobile suit capable Salamis and Magellan class ships. Plus, they still operate the Pegasus class ships Grey phantom, White base junior, and Pegasus. Most federation weapons are off white in color with anything from purple to yellow for accent.

Common MS: Gm II, Armored GM, GM Ground type, Gundam ground type, Guncannon mass production type

Common Pods: ball types K and C

Heavy MS (note numbers= total units the federation posseses): Heavy gundam (13), Full armor 7th gundam (6), Gundam Dendrobium Orchis (2)

Common ships: Magellan, Salamis

Named Ships: Grey Phantom, White Base junior, Pegasus

Federation Characters are stationed on board the Pegasus and are part of a 3 ship fleet along with two salamis class ships. There are 4 federation spots.

MS Backstory: Raiden Found the Heavily Damaged G04 and its equipment in a damaged Federation transport. When he asked the captured crew about the gundam, they told him the story of Luce Kassel and how he was killed in action when the Mega beam launcher overloaded the external power pack, causing it to explode, killing Luce and heavily damaging the gundam. The unit was being taken to a federation base near side 7 to be repaired and used for weapons testing. Raiden took G04 back to its old home on board the Thoroughbred (although he didn't know this at the time) and contributed greatly to its repairs. After being made ready for combat and upgraded to be able to use its mega beam launcher (still completely draining the power from the unit, but not overloading it) and being given blue beam sabers, G04 became Raiden's personal MS; his Skills at close combat and the gundam's power earning him the nickname "Blue Reaper".

Personality/Backstory: Being born the son of a Zeon officer, Rai always was fascinated by weapons of war. When the War broke out in UC 0079, He was appaled at the brutality of the poison gas attacks and the colony drop on sidney. In 0080, he ran away from home and found himself caught up in Azer when it was first formed. He took part in the battle to control axis and it was here that he earned his Ace wings and was promoted to Lieutenant J.G.. He has since become an integral part of the Thoroughbred's MS combat tactics; often being up front on the offense with G04. He is laid back, easily annoyed, and fun loving. He has a strong sense of right and wrong and a spirit for competition. He has a scar on his left cheek from his first sortie. Raiden also loves chocolate candy bars.

MS Backstory

After Cytomander Gave Himself he Avian DNA, He Became Obsessed With Flying, So He Took His Original Zaku, And Modified It So Much It Wasn't Even A Zaku, Now It Was: Shuzack. Shuzack Has Be Modified With Balls On Its Feet, Allowing For A Smooth Landing And Take Off, Also He Gave It Wings(Thought They Can't Move) HePut Some Thruster Jets On It's Back, Allowing It To Fly Almost Like A Bird

Character Backstory

Cytomander Is Almost Like A Bird By The Way He Acts; He Usually Prefers Staying AirBorne Than On The Ground And/Or In Water. Before He Became Famous For His Fleet Ship: Dai-Gunten, Cytomander Was A Bird Fanatic, And One Day When He Was Doing Some Experiments He Chose To Give Himself 10% Avian DNA(Which Made Him Love Being In The Air And Not Liking Being On The Ground)

 

Shortly After This, He Started Building Dai-Gunten(And Modifying His Shuzack) Many Knew Him As "That Freaky Dude" Yet He Showed Them Wrong Once Dai-Gunten Was Finished, Many Armies Wanted Cytomander On Their Side, But He Literaly Shot Them Down.

Why? He Doesn't Have Wings N' Shiz(Just The Love For Flying) Also The Avian DNA Plays A Large Part In Who Cytomander Is; Like I Said, All He Got From The DNA Is The Love For Flying. And Realy He Only Uses Schuzack In Tight Situations, He Basicly Uses The Sparrow Jets On Dai-Gunten, And Dai-Gunten's Defence Systems.

Good, except that the hyaku shiki (translated as type one hundred) was made by the AEUG in UC 0087, which means it doesnt exist yet. I suggest making use of Gelgoog Jagers, as they have the same specs as the hyaku shiki, comparatively speaking, or there are gms, plenty of varients to choose from. One question though, Whats a levia sphere?

The Levia-Spheres Are What Keep Dai-Gunten Aflot, Seeing As It Doesn't Use Normal Thrusters/Jets/Ect As It Would Take Too Much Fuel(That Would Mean Half Of Dai-Gunten Would Be Fuel Tanks) He Created The Levia-Sphere, Which Is The Most Compicated Thig Created Yet. They Use Gravity's Pull Against Itself To Keep It Afloat (When One Breaks, They Need To Land ASAP And Fix It) The Special Genetarors Create A Reverse Gravity(A Pulling Force Instead Of A Push) And The 2 Forces Colide, And Keep Dai-Gunten Stable In the Air (Until One Breaks Of Malfunctions, Then Its Startes To Tip/Turn)

lol pretty good but ummm, there's no need for that in space where gravity doesnt apply. if you want em keep em. and the Hyaku shiki wont work =, since it was made by the AEUG in 0087, 3 years from the start of this RP. Try something like a gelgoog jager or GM command for the gunten's ms compliment.

He was once a renegade in his hometown called a 'Rudie', who skate and graffiti to express themselves. he was captured by the E.S.F.S for graffiting a Mobile Suit and was forced to be be the pilot of the AX-21 Knight Gundam project.
