{Alright boys, were done here. [LOCK]} I have been wondering.. [New Card!!]

Back when I was a young lad playing Yu-gi-oh like it was Super Mario Bros.

I always wanted a custom deck, based off emotions. (Well, not really based on emotion, but more, created from emotion.)

Examples

Greater Emotional Beings

Lesser Emotional Beings

Pure Emotional Beings

And such.

I found this beautiful site from another forum, and decided to join.

And I've been making my dream deck every since I've joined! (which was about 30 minutes to 45 minutes ago xD)

I wanted to know if my cards were:

too OP

under powered

to confusing

wrong level/bad stats

Etc, etc.

So please, criticism is wanted. (preferably constructive-criticism)

One of my Pure Emotional Beings:

Please let me know! :D

I don't think I can really continue making cards until I get some feed back about my card making.

[EDIT]

Now I know that Circulation means the Edition of the card!

(Sorry if I seem to noobish, its been forever since the last time I have even seen a yu-gi-oh card in the flesh.)

[EDIT again]

And I also realize that my Pure Being is missing a couple stars (or has to many) based on other monsters I am seeing around on the forums.

Some advices:

Don't make DIVINE monsters, they are generally frowned upon.

Don't make up Types, especially with such long names.

If possible, avoid making Normal Monsters, unless you give support cards for them. When you can, make Effect Monsters.

Without seeing more cards from this series, it's kind of hard to judge balance.

Ok, lets see.

Divine, why are they frowned upon?

Types, ok I'll try and figure that one out.

I even thought of making a Effect monster.. It didnt seem right to me at the time, I will reconsider it though.

That is just my current (and only) Pure being, I have a Lesser and Greater. (I guess I really should change that pesky type huh..) If you would like to see them.

Thanks for the input. :D

DIVINE - they are generally not a legal' date=' playable Attribute.

Type - Try to add the "Emotional Being" part somehow in the name, and make the Type to an existing one (Spellcaster-Type, maybe Fairy-Type?)

Oh!

I think Light would be suitable instead of Divine.

I have already changed the type to spellcaster since that is what it would be.

The other orb-shaped beings would be considered Fairies due to the small shape and size.

Does this seem more logical?

(I made up the Effect for a basic idea of what this monster would be doing, put it on the field to give other monsters more stats.)

Also, do you think the stars/stats are fine based on what your seeing?

If you need the other 2 cards in the Monster category I will gladly post them here for you to further judge the set.

Spellcaster is written without the C capitalized.

And a correction for the effect:

When this monster is Tribute Summoned, you can select 1 "Emotional Being" monster on the field. Increase the ATK of the selected card by 200 and decrease the DEF of the selected card by 150.

Don't forget that if you try to give the effect that way, you need to name the cards so they have "Emotional Being" in their name.

It seems like a balanced card, so far. Maybe its DEF is a bit high, but that's not that much of a problem. And I'd like to see the other 2 cards, too.

Alright, just wondering, why would it be a tribute summon? (I have no idea what the difference is between Normal and Tribute summon :S sorry.)

Glyr. Originally a Lesser Emotional Being with no effect.

Xaeri. Originally a Greater Emotional Being with no effect.

I also have a spell card that would bring a Greater emotional being back from the graveyard. and another spell card to bring back a lesser from the grave yard. if you would like to see them also.

For the question about Tribute Summons: There are cards like Mausoleum of the Emperor which make possible summoning monsters without Tributes, but in that case, they don't count as a Tribute Summon.

For the Emotional Beings - what kind of effects do they plan for them? Without knowing the effects, I can't really judge their power. And for the Spell Cards - where they will send the monsters from the Graveyard? Back on the field, back to your hand or back to your Deck?

For the beings, I had originally planned them to have a DEF breaching effect. Decrease of DEF over time, or, every turn that the monster is in ATK mode, decrease Def of a selected opponent's monster by 5% or something like that.( are percentages really allowed? I dont really know.)

The spell cards were probably a waste of time, they would send the beings back to the player's hand. but there was this ONE spell card that would be most favorable in some duels. but I dont think its legit.

A spell card I thought of, I was going to add a tribute/sacrifice but what is your input?
