WHAAAAAT. for a completly underpowered deck that's the most broke card Iv'e ever seen. anyways, for a first shot I guess it's ok, but rather than make a buncha cards in 10 minutes, make one good one in that amount of time. the pictures are boring, the amount of fusion monsters actually makes the deck less than 40 so its not legal. So Many Fusions and Rituals. I mean- "1-Up Mushroom" Effect: HEAL?!?!? 600 Life Points. Just find pics with backgrounds and that are not blurry (though, most of them are not blurry), bad OCG, nice effects ideas for most of them though. I fav. Bowser's Castle, the pic is really nice, the effect is good and pretty balanced (though you've still got to work on the OCG),overall: hummm... how could I rate 'em... ah! 6/10. But yeah: 100 -50(Horrid OCG) -30(Pictures) -20(Broken Balance) -2(That Thing With Super Mario Normal Repeating) + 50(Benefit of the n00b Bonus) + 10(Normal Cards FTW!!) = 58/100. You pass with an A. It's not that good. You have potential, but so does everyone else. You're going to have to work at it if you seriously wanna' become recognized for good work. RedRecker Posted June 13, 2009 Report Share Posted June 13, 2009 Hmmm, it needs quite a bit of work but I wouldn't give up on it yet. I would say, take another look through most of the cards and make sure their effects are more unique, balanced and thought out. For example, the Goomba card has a rather pointless effect. Only 100 damage? What is the point? Also OCG is off around the place and the pictures are not keeping to a certain style (which makes the set harder to look at to be honest). Nice pictures is a good start, possibly better than good effects. If the cards look more presentable, it is likely people will take more time to read them. All in all, it is going to need some work. I suggest, if you haven't already, looking at currently existing cards to get a real feel for the language used in cards and then trying again. I will also understand if what I have said seems like too much effort and bother, in which case, by all means keep your cards as they are. They are your cards after all.
