Seriosuly, what do you need?

I see, most of the time anyway, nubs getting bashed for crappy sigs.

I bash them as well because, how else will they learn? But, I was once a nub and I know how that feels.

If you just tell me what you guys need, I can help.

I'll try my best to make YCM GD's as great as they can be.

So, tell me, what do you need to become better?

Then again, who says you need to become better?

I'm sure most of the GD's here are happy at their current level.

Eh, I dunno, maybe I'm just crazy and in a happy mood.

Summer Break does that to a guy.

I'ma say this to GD, not to you, nor me, nor shadius, hioco, altair, & all the resources givers.

We worked our ass of to give them PSD's. No one is learning from them =/

What else can we do?

I'm trying to develop a new type of way to teach them & yes I've figure it out & you will all see it soon enough.

Even when giving out PSD's people don't get it.

I got one guy coming up to me saying "Man the funk?! you only have 20 layers on this PSD & I don't know what the hell you were going about in it." I told him "You should have seen the original it was 66 layers"

etc, etc.

People these days either are lazy ass fucks or just don't wanna read. If you think it's too hard or you don't understand a certain part, PM ME, HARIS, or anyone else. Because we will help you. If you don't read, we will just tell you off or tell you to go back to it & read it. That's why we made it, for you to read & learn.

Oh & let me make this clear,

For ya'll bastards out there, SIGNATURES are an art form & some people already made that happen.

If you don't like signatures, stop doing them.

I understand what you're saying bro but there has to be at least one person we could help.

Yes we do give them resources and PSD's, but maybe we could do a little bit more. That something I dunno, but it'll come to us.

I guess I'm still looking around and experimenting trying to find a good style for me.

I've felt the same way, Zero.

What I found to be useful was:

I viewed the sigs that I did like, the ones that just made me think, "DAMN, I love this."

I would try copying their style and usually that made me happy.

Eventually, I found a style that I loved. I happened to come across it by experimenting and just combining a bunch of tut ideas and tips.

Then I started buliding from that little style and made it better.

Try that.

It could help you =]

Well Kiryo, it's not about tutorials & how good & bad you can be. It's about you the artist that carry the art inside you to think of it & execute. Look at some stocks & think about what you could do to them to let them be better. Wether some adjustment layers, smudge, Add some C4D's, or just be highly original.

& you'll see over time that you're getting better because you're doing you're old style, not biting off someone else's. If you do bite off a skill, you will stay at the same level.

 

Legend man, look, don't just linger around sigs. Do some LP's maybe. Pixel Art, etc, etc.

But if you want to do signatures you'll have to be very original. You can make you're own style, wether it involves mimic-ing or C4D usage or smudge etc etc. You're the person who knows.

Make 10 signatures with different styles. Host them & we'll tell you which style you're good at & you can keep doing so you can get better & better & better.

Partially the reason I have been trying to supply such resources and provide PSDs, as well as asking for stickies on those useful threads. >.>

 

I can provide links to free tuts, packs, ETC. I can also tut my PSDs and make more packs, if necessary.

 

Just tell me what I can do to help. I may suck, but I can be useful. ;D
