raven5000
Call me a racist bastard' date=' but isn't it natural? I mean, people are naturally more secure around other people of their own race. Of course there are a few exceptions, but you can't honestly tell me that you don't feel out of place when you're the only person of your race in the room. Amirite?[/quote'] I understand what you mean, but it truly isn't racism. It's kind of the opposite.agreed Most of the time, you feel out of place because you don't want to look racist, since you are not around your own race. If you were in a room full of white people and you were black, or if you were white and you were in a room full of black people, you get cautious and you feel out of place because you don't want to look like a racist....if you aren't one. It just shows you feel uncomfortable because you don't want to look like a racist by saying something incorrectly. In other words, it makes you feel out of place just because you are worried you might say something that came out your mouth wrong and made you look like a racist, jack-ass mountain hick. Willieh
Yes. Atheist perspectives are usually developed through some sort of logical thought process. Theist perspectives are usually established through some sort of blind acceptance and/or faith. Neither of those two things are logical in their natures' date=' and thus, by default, are complete bullshit.[/quote'] Ok, so, apparently all people who believe in religion are illogical. They can't possibly be reasonable, rational human beings. So I guess the man who invented the mechanical printing press, Johannes Gutenberg, was a raving lunatic. So was the man who built the first mechanical clock, Henry de Vick. So was the father of genetics, Gregor Mendel. Mozart was a nutcase beyond compare. Even Isaac Newton was a violent psychotic! Oh the list goes on and on and on! So many of these great men of science, industry and music were mad as hatters because they believed in God! In case I laid it on too thick, let me spell it out. Every one of those men, plus scores more like them, were believers in God, and most were devotely religious Christians. We owe many of our modern conveniences to groundwork laid by these people. Just the printing press itself is considered by many historians to be the single most influencial invention to date. The first book printed on a mechanical printing press? The Bible. So if all these men were irrational for their belief in God, how could they possibly have made these very important contributions to the world? Unless maybe you are wrong. Who's spouting bullshit, I wonder? The whole reason you feel uncomfortable is because you're scared of their reaction. Because you don't trust them. But the actual definition of racism is to discriminate against a race in combination with the belief that their race is inferior.
