Skull Servants... Eh, why not.

Recommended Posts

Alright, second build. Thanks to the people who offered suggestions.

I dropped the entire Phalax Pike thing, (My original idea was that Primsa could copy Skull Servant, then get equipped with Phalax Pike for massive damage. In retrospect, perhaps a bit difficult to pull off...), and took a lot of Raikoh's suggestions. This any better?

[spoiler=Old Build]

Just want to say off the bat that I'm not particularly experienced in making decks, especially with the current Meta (I have almost no playing experience with Synchros...), but I decided to try my hand at a Skull Servant deck when I got a hold of The Lady in Wight. Probably not the best, but the only way to make a good deck is to first make a lot of crappy decks and learn from the mistakes, I suppose.

This should help your deck. Synchros are easy to use. Just have a Tuner Monster on the field and another monster of the field to synchro. You send the monsters on the field to the Graveyard to Summon the Synchro and they must be both have = amount of Stars as the Synchro Monster's Level. Simple huh?

?

How is One for One bad in a Skull Servant deck? It automatically gets any of my Kings out, possibly with a bonus right off the bat. (By the way, I should mention, I loath it when people write off specific cards I've included in any of my decks as horrible without explaining why. If I put it in the deck in the first place, I evidently don't think it's horrible, so it's pointless to convince me otherwise without giving just cause...)

Eh fine, I see where you're coming from, looking over Goblin Zombie's effect and whatnot. That, alongside Pyramid Turtle and Zombie Master, probably should be good for searching them out.

Let's see, what else... I'm a little hesitant about removing Opti. Equip spells are generally crap, I know, but without it have to rely on getting an empty field for a OTK. There any way around that?

you're better with creature swap.

let's say opponent has 1 monster, you have King and CS

swap King for opponents monster.

King's attack becomes 0 because opponent (hopefully) doesn't have any Skull Servants in the grave (the irony)

revive King via effect and attack directly

True, which is why I have Creature Swap at 3 (I had the oddest inkling that it was Semi-Lim... wonder why, Ah well.). Unfortunately, it isn't all that helpful if the opponent is running a Swarm deck that is so popular these days, or else has more than 1 monster on the field. So I'm thinking of running a Lightning Vortex or something to clear the opponent's field.
