Welcome, all.

This contest is a Three-Part contest with three levels of judgemant each part. This contest is all based on the adjective "Golden". All cards that you make for this contest has to contain the word "Golden" in it. Do not use "Golden" all by itself. I choose to be a nice person. I will not deduct any points, even for rude behavior. I will not neg-rep you. If the contestants feel like your bothering them, they can inform me, and I will deduct points and cause removal. Do not expect points if so happens. Please respect others, and do not copy other's ideas/cards. Do not insult other's works, unless they want you to. Please follow these rules and let us have a nice, peaceful contest.

Welcome. This is the beginning of this contest. You lucky people all have 100 Round Points at this moment in time. All you have to do is make a Monster Card based on the word Golden. You have no restrictions on the effect, attack, defence, level, type, or attribute, so do not stress on those points. But, if your Monster Card's effect has to do with "Golden", you lose more points. When you submit your card, I will decrease from that 100 Round Points depending on how well you did. The better your card, the more I will decrease. So having a 1 as a Round Point Average is better than having a 99 as a Round Point Average. Once you get your score, every single participant moves on to Round Two.
Congratulations to those who made it. Now time for the hard part. Round Two is also called Elimination Phase #1, even though none of you will be out of the contest after this round. Based on your Round Points from your first round, you will be compared to another participant. Whoever wins that round moves up on the scoreboard and faces another person who won in the next round. Whoever loses stays in their place and faces another person who lost in the next round.
This is where people are eliminated. After your first comparison, you must make a second comparison. If you won in your first comparison, you cannot be eliminated from this contest yet. If you lost, you must win your next battle in order to stay in, or else your out. If you do make it to the next part, don't forget about your Round Score on this part, because that will affect your next part. All people who lost in both rounds cannot submit in another round, but I will give you 5 points and a Rep to those who have lost for effort.
If you are underlined, you have won.

I will post your points in a different post, so look there for your point average. This part uses the same card, so you better make your card good!

Congratulations to those who made it here!:D Anyway, in this part, you must make a Spell/Trap card that has "Golden" in its name. You also need to have a card effect that supports any monster with "Golden" in their name. Okay. Don't worry, deadlines will be well spread apart, so that you have time to rest. I will start accepting cards now, and the first deadline will be... June 15. If this feels like an unreasonable deadline, let me know, and I'll make a comprimise. No, there are no entry fees.

Heres my monster entry (part 1 , round 1)

293291.jpg

Effect : During your standby phase , flip a coin and receive one of the following effects:

If tails , roll a six sided die.

If the result was an even number , increase all "Golden" monsters ATK and DEF by 1000 until your next turn.

If the number was odd , increase your life points by 1000 for every "Golden" card on the field. Destroy this card afterwards.

If heads , tribute one card with "Golden" in its name. Destroy 2 Monsters and 2 Spell or Traps on your opponents side of the field.

Destroy this card 3 turns after activation.

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned, except by tributing 1 Token monster you control. "Golden" monsters cannot be destroyed as result of battle. Increase the ATK and DEF of this monster by 500 for each monster on the field. Once per turn, you can tribute 1 Token monster to draw 1 card.

Heh, this was like the very first card (atleast conceptually) I ever made.

"Golden monsters cannot be destroyed as result of battle" ' date=' should make it "While this card is face-up on the field , cards with "Golden" in its name cannot be destroyed by battle".

[/quote']

I am pretty sure that format is no longer used in new cards. Check out Spined Gillman from the last set(no mention of "while face-up) or Granmaster of the Six samurai(he says ""Six Samurai" monsters" rather than "monsters with "Six Samurai"" in their name").

Okay then. I don't mind if another person corrects the card, and you can change it anytime you want until June 15. After that, I must rate, and I can't change my rating, because that will mess up the system of things. Anybody can help on your card, as long as they don't randomly come in without permission.
