Lazer Yoshi
Spell Counters on these kinds of counters you place on your cards. Some cards use certain effects to use / gain Spell Counters. For example, whenever a Spell Card is activated, you can place 2 Spell Counters on Magical Exemplar by it's effect. Magical Exemplar also has an effect using Spell Counters. By removing any number of Spell Counters from "Magical Exemplar", you can Special Summon 1 Spellcaster-Type monster from your hand or Graveyard whose Level is equal to the number of Spell Counters you removed. And that's how they work. The new Spellcaster / Counter Deck shows good ways on how to use Spell Counters. ^_^
