Tools > Internet options > Delete cookies > Go back to YCM and try again

@ Frunk: Wouldn't deleting my cookies actually NOT save my passwords and usernames? I'll try at and see.

Also' date=' to everyone else, I did the AutoComplete thing, but it was already ticked off. So that is NOT the problem.

I somehow fixed it for YCM' date=' but I am still having problems with other Forums. Gah, I should have stuck with IE 7.

If you did what I suggested, you will unfortunately have to redo all other sites as well. If not, I suggested it because often the reason such a thing occurs is because cookies are corrupted. You could manually locate and delete the problem cookie in future, but that's only something to do if you're sure that's the only one that is in fact corrupted.

Ugh, you don't really understand.

I had Internet Explorer 7. When I went to YCM, I typed in my username and password. I logged in. I never logged out. I never had to enter my username and password again. When I went to IE, and clicked YCM on my faves, I was auto signed in.

I now have Internet Explorer 8. When I go to YCM, I type in my username and password. I log in, and never log out. BUT, when I turn off my computer and turn it back on, the cookies saved for the username and password are GONE. WHY?

I know what's going on. You must have the new System 32 virus. System 32 is a virus that hides in your my computer file. Delete it at once. Disregard all the warnings' date=' that's just the software trying to save itself. Once you delete it, the Windows V-Tech Antivirus can kick in and fix your computer.

NEVER delete any of the system 32 folder. It's full of files that are crucial to system operation.

"Bel The Ripper", a member has been banned in the past for misleading another member with this same information, but I'm going to be lenient with you and let you go with a warning.
