Lord Smeagle Posted May 31, 2009 Report Share Posted May 31, 2009 Vanillas are fine to play with, in the right sort of deck (i, e, Normal Monster Deck); the problem is that they give nothing to rate on YCM. Anyone can make a vanilla; it requires no skill and no talent. It's not an accurate judge of skill or knowledge, nor is it interesting to look at. Ruann's card is basically a carbon copy of Gladiator Beast Andal; despite its awesome picture, there's no real reason for it to exist. Minocensatyros is going to use this guy alongside Vorse Raider and just swarm the field for insane amounts of damage. I feel sorry for anyone who thinks they could stand up to the primitive face stomping that this card could deliver when packed into a custom-made Minocensatyros deck. :] Oh, wait. Gene-Warped Warwolf is a 2000 ATK Level 4 Normal Monster, so we lose that spot....Are you kidding me? It's a Beast-Warrior too? ****. Minocensatyros now has better food that already exists, and this card does nothing more than fall by the wayside. Drat. This card is completely useless. Everything that it could do effectively can be done much better by Gene-Warped Warwolf. The picture has been seen everywhere, I was about to use it for a card myself. Skyson Posted June 1, 2009 Report Share Posted June 1, 2009 I tried to like it, really. 1900 ATK, that put him up there with EVERY OTHER NORMAL MONSTER OF THE SAME CALIBUR. Gladiator Beast Andal, Gemini Elf, Vorse Raider, Mad Dog of Darkness and Insect Knight, along with all the other 1900 ATK Normal Monster you can think of that I'm not thinking of right now, are all just as good and just as unplayable as this card. Oh wait, they're not even being played anymore because Gene-Warped Warwolf is the standing 2000 ATK Normal Monster. He's better than every one of the others. Too bad. The only other thing this card had going for it was potential use with Minocensatyros, but Gene-Warped Warwolf even beat him to that.
