Airlock Dragons

Airlock Dragons specialize in Extra Deck monsters and Spell and Trap Monsters.

Airlock Dragon Risk Cannon

Level 6

FIRE Attribute

Dragon/Charge/Effect

When a Spell or Trap card is activated, place 1 counter on this card. When there are 6 counters on this card, you can Special Summon this monster from your Extra Deck. Once per turn, you can destroy all Spell and Trap Cards on the field and inflict 1000 damage to your opponent for each one. This card cannot attack during the turn this effect is activated, and your opponent can select 2 Spell or Trap Cards in their Graveyard and add it to their hand next turn. This card cannot be Special Summoned during a turn where you Special Summoned a monster from your Extra Deck.

 

Airlock Dragon Paralyzing Destroyer

Dragon/Wave/Effect

To Wave Summon this card, send "Airlock Dragon" monsters from your side of the field to the Graveyard whose total ATK equals this card's ATK - 300 to this card's ATK + 300, then remove from play a different set of monsters whose total ATK equals this card's ATK - 300 to this card's ATK + 300. This card Attribute is also LIGHT. When this card is Wave Summoned, select one of these effects. This card gains that effect:

  • Increase this card's ATK by the total ATK of the monsters sent to the Graveyard to Wave Summon this card divided by 5.
  • Once during your opponent's Battle Phase, you can reduce the ATK of one monster on your opponent's side of the field to 0 until the End of your next turn.
  • Once per turn, you can disacrd 1 card and your opponent cannot declare an ATK except with monsters whose ATK is lower than this card's ATK and higher than this card's DEF.

 

Airlock Dragon Sky Burst

Continuous Trap

When this card is activated, this card becomes a monster (Dragon-Type/WIND Attribute/2000 ATK/1000 DEF/Level 5). If this card is activated duriong your opponent's Battle Phase when one of your opponent's monsters is attacking, change the target of the attack to this card. Once per turn, you can increase or decrease this card's ATK by at least 500. (This card's ATK cannot be increased over 2200 in this way.)

 

Airlock Dragon Vulcan Shot

Continuous Spell

Discard 1 card from your hand. This card becomes a monster (Dragon-Type/FIRE Attribute/1300 ATK/400 DEF/Level 3). When this card is activated, add 1 "Airlock Dragon Vulcan Shot" from your deck to your hand, and inflict 500 damage to your opponent's Life Points. This card cannot be Tributed or sent to the Graveyard to Special Summon a monster from the Extra Deck. This card cannot attack during the turn when an "Airlock Dragon Vulcan Shot" attacked. You can send 3 "Airlock Dragon Vulcan Shots" on the field to the Graveyard to add 1 "Airlock Dragon" card from your Deck to your hand. You can discard 1 card from your hand to add this card to your hand from your Graveyard.

 

Airlock Dragon Timaeus

2500/1500

Level 7

WIND Attribute

Dragon/Ritual/Effect

You can send 1 Spell or Trap card on your side of the field to the Graveyard to add this card and "Airlocked Eye" to your hand. When this card attacks, add 1 "Airlock Dragon" Continuous Spell, Continuous Trap, or Ritual Monster from your deck to your hand. Once per turn, you can select a Fusion Monster in your Extra Deck that has this card as a Fusion Material, and send that card's Fusion Materials to the Graveyard to Fusion Summon that monster.

 

Airlocked Eye

Ritual Spell

Send monsters whose Levels are equal to or higher than 7 to Special Summon 1 "Airlock Dragon Timaeus" from your hand.

I'm not sure how a 'charge' monster works' date=' but couldn't you have three Risk Cannon in your extra deck, activate six spell or traps, then summon all three? That would be incredibly broken, in fact, the card already seems pretty broken, even only summoning one of them.

Easy summons at no cost is hard to balance.

Clearing the backrow is hard to balance.

Giving it huge burn does not balance the above.

2250 atk beatstick does not balance the above.

So, unless there's something I don't get about the 'charge' type,

 

Nope, you got everything,

 

that thing is seriously too powerful,

as is Vulcan Shot, instant 1500 burn,

 

No. 1500 burn does not mean anything.

search power and it's recoverable?

 

Discarding a card is bigger than it seems.

 

Definitely needs some more negative effects, or lowering the positive ones.
