Card A

Godsped Paladin

Card Lore:

You can return this card from your Graveyard to your hand during the End Phase of a turn that it was destroyed by a card effect. You can Special Summon this card from your hand by Tributing 1 face-up Level 4 Warrior-Type monster you control while there are at least 2 LIGHT monsters in your Graveyard. Each time this card destroys a monster your opponent controls by battle, increase your Life Points by the Level of the destroyed monster x 200. Monsters this card destroys in battle are removed from play. For each monster this card destroys in battle, increase its Level by 1. If the Level of this card is 10 or higher, remove it from play.

Card B

Pitski, the Lone Warlord

PitskiBest-3.png

Card Lore:

While your opponent has 3 or more cards in his/her hand, this card gains 400 ATK. If this card inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent, you can remove from play 1 monster in your opponent's Graveyard. Then each player can Special Summon 1 monster from their Deck whose Level is less than or equal to the Level of the monster removed from play. Whenever a monster your opponent controls inflicts Battle Damage to your Life Points, each player must draw 1 card from their Deck and reveal it. If the card drawn by each player by this effect is a monster card, the monster with the lowest Level is discarded. When this card is destroyed, you can add 1 "Pitski, the Lone Warlord" from your Deck to your hand. If this effect is activated, skip your next Draw Phase.

This would probably be my last 1 on 1 match for the time being. I was promoted on my job and will be going to Hong Kong for 1 month^_^. I'd probably have 2-3 hours a day to look at this site so i'll spend it in my contest^_^ I gave you the best card i have. You deserve that kind of respect.

Hunter

Balance/Originality: Possibly a little overpowered. Yeah, it gets removed from play when it hits 10+ stars, but you're still getting a good deal of LP out of it. And I'm talking around 4000+. And I highly doubt that most people want to go through the conditions of Special Summoning this card (Unless it's, like, your last resort, or somehing like that).

I like the idea of using the level increases as a time bomb for the monster. Nice & original.

Balance/Originaity: The 1st effect looked like it was just thrown in; the last effect could possibly make it a little overpowered, despite skippng your Draw Phase. It seems like having to deal with one of those would seem bad enough. lol. The low ATK/DEF sorta make up for that.

Other than that, the effect is very creative.

Then each player can Special Summon 1 monster from their Deck whose Level is less than or equal to the Level of the monster removed from play by this effect. Whenever a monster your opponent controls inflicts Battle Damage to your Life Points, both players must draw 1 card from their Decks and reveal them. If the card drawn by each player by this effect is a Monster Card, the monster with the lowest Level is discarded. When this card is destroyed, you can add 1 "Pitski, the Lone Warlord" from your Deck to your hand. If you activate this effect, skip your next Draw Phase.

I can't really spot OCG errors on my own (I'm not going to look at other people's posts, that's cheating :)), so I guess I can just judge on balance and usefulness.

Hunter: I see a Level 4 monster with the perfect circle ability concerning destruction by card effects. And the easiest way to get a card off the field is with card effects... well, interesting... and I kind of understand the perspective of the SS Mech, despite that it makes you lose a monster in exchange for one. The LP increase idea is quite good, and I see a lot of potential with it (especially with the fact that you can bring him back multiple times). I can him being played over and over again in a duel (especially with three copies).

Pitski The fact that this card will have 2300 ATK something like 1/3 of the time shows that he's not very good stat-wise for a 1-tribute monster. Add that to the fact that if he does take a hit, or you take damage while he's out, there are benefits in it for you AND your opponent. So while he's balanced, I don't think he's useful...

btw, this card looks like it was sort of made for "Yubel".

"Hunter" is the winner in my opinion. His card has more value in a duel, though it's probably not going to be unlimited like "Pitski's". But all in all, you've both got some original and well-made cards!

I would luke to have an evaluation chart like DeMeNTeD but since I'm on my itouch, it's a little difficult; so I'll get right to it.

Hunter: image is phenominal, balance is definately there. Effect is ever so original. OCG is good

pitski: image is great. I love your egotism with the card name. Effect is creative. OCG is good

Winner due to creativity and beautiful image is Hunter
