Warning: This thread may contain spoilers. If you are not up-to-date in One Piece or are planning to read One Piece, you may not want to continue.

Anyways, with that said and done, here is the set I've been doing that focuses on the manga series One Piece. This initial batch has all the members of the Straw Hat crew so far. Besides the Straw Hat crew, I am putting the cards in the same order they appear in the manga. Also, this set is probably going to be way more monsters then magic and traps. I am also planning on continuing this set on a regular basis.

Enjoy, and please rate them :D

[spoiler= 000 - 022]

As a side note, it is quite hard to find good pictures of some of the older characters that don't appear anymore, which is why I had to settle for a plain-white background on some of these cards.

Um do you think you can pm the link for Luffy's pic?I was making a luffy for my One-Shotter's Set, but I couldn't find a good, solid pic until i saw yours, I tried searching but I couldn't find it. BTW GREAT and I really mean GREAT 9/10, just try to find pics with backgrounds. I also find there is no use for Kaya as she has 0 in ATK and DEF without an effect.

Also, 740, Luffy actually is stronger, it just takes his effect. Which allows him to use Gear counters to increase his ATK.

They're really good. One question though' date=' why is Luffy weaker than some of his crew members and the people he's already defeated?

9/10

Well, I wanted to make him a 4-star so it is easier to summon him and then later, bring out his next two Gears (coming later, lol.)

Thanks, and sure, I'll PM it to you. And Kaya is just there as I was making cards for every "important" character in the arcs. Might stop though, as I see that Normal Monster are generally hated, lol.

Also, thanks for all the comments people :D

@ ilovesmarties: It seems you disabled your PMing, lol. So I can't send you a message @.@

But even with the Gear Counters, there is a max of 3, which means his max ATK is still only 2100. Luffy could beat Alvida and the others without Gears. If I am mistaken about the effect, please explain.

I think, if he makes the gear forms, then Luffy will be stronger. It isn't always about ATK and DEF, sometimes it can be the effects, which right now, Luffy can Summon his Gear forms.

some ocg but i am surprised at your skill

9/10

Thanks' date=' lol :D

Most of the pics are good, some of them need backgrounds though, you still need to work on your OCG and, please, don't make vanillas, they're boring.

6/10, for the effort.

Well, the ones with the white backgrounds are only there because I am unable to find good pictures of them that have backgrounds, lol.

Also, bump (and an update).

  • 1 month later...

Wow, really nice cards. I like how each effect reflects the individual characters abilities. One thing though: Zoro seems to be a bit overpowerd. By the time its your opponent's turn after he is summoned he's already stronger than every other level 5 or 6 monster out there. After his second turn being on the field he's stronger than most level 8 monsters. Maybe its just me, though.
