wanderley:

Effect:

FLIP: return 1 WATER monster with 1000 ATK or less from your Graveyard to your hand. When this card is destroyed by battle, you must pay 500 Life Points and Special Summon this card in face-down defense positon.

DeMeNTeD:

Effect:

This card is also treated as a Sea Serpent-Type monster during either player's Battle Phase. If "Umi" or "Umiiruka" is on the field, this card cannot be destroyed by battle while in Attack Position. (Damage calculation is applied normally.) If this card attacks, it is changed to Defense Position at the end of the Damage Step. If a WATER monster you control (except this card) is destroyed by battle, place 1 Flenge Counter on the attacking monster (max. 1). If a monster with a Flenge Counter attacks, it loses ATK equal to it's Level x 100, until the End Phase. Remove the Flenge Counter from the attacking monster during the End Phase.

I have to go with Demented. Much better OCG, better pic, and I can actually understand all of its effect...

wanderley has a good card. DeMeNTeD has a good card.

I feel like both card effects are good and somewhat balanced.

Really hard to choose if you're going to use them both in a real game.

Both have their purpose. hmmmm.. I'll have to go with DeMeNTeD for putting

an extra effort for the pic. Also, the card format like SET ID of wanderlay is wrong.

It should be 4 Letters followed by "EN"xxx where xxx = numbers.

My vote = DeMeNTeD

Wanderley has a few OCG errors, but is the clear winner here.

DeMeNTeD's effect is for the most part, redundant.

The only card that will EVER attack with a Flenge counter is a Cyber Twin Dragon.

Why? I'll show you through a scenario:

Your opponent has: Mobius the Frost Monarch

You have: Umi, Vanduo Warrior, and Froggy.

Mobius kills Froggy, Vanduo Warrior places one Flenge counter on Mobius. But guess what, Mobius can't attack again.

Opponent ends turn, Flenge counter goes bye-bye.

So please explain to me how Flenge counters are any good with your card.

My vote is to wanderley.

I think what he meant was to remove the Flenge Counter on the card at the End Phase of the turn that it attacks again and not on the same turn that the Flenge Counter was placed^_^

Makes more sense haha

But with the way it's currently worded, I'm definitely going with wanderley.

Thanks for pointing that out though.

Ok. Can you post our cards in a new thread? I won't be checking too often though... I have a 10-page research paper due in 6 days... But you did say we could see who would have won...
