During your opponent's turn, your opponent takes all Battle Damage you would have taken from a battle involving this monster.| I'm not changing a core game mechanic here, cards can only be put into face-down attack by a card effect, so it won't change how people play monsters normally, just monsters that specify the effect. Rulings; Since you cannot change the battle position, you cannot Flip Summon a face-down Attack Position monster. A face-down Attack Position monster can declare an attack on the turn it is flipped face-down. Comments? Link to comment
Adama.
You mixed up may and can again {3 remember that Yu-Gi-Oh always uses can. I don't really see the point of this, I don't think that face-down Attack Position exists in the game, but the way you added it doesn't make sense. Its like regular attack position except you can't see what the attacking card is, however, it has to be flipped for battle anyway for damage calculation. It just seems unnecessary. Also, "When a face-down Attack Position battles a monster" should be "When a monster in face-down Attack Position battles a monster".2/5{Adama} Link to comment
-Griffin
Like I said, this is part of a much bigger set, in which the position is useful. Unfortunately, I'm not on the computer with that set right now so I can't upload it. Thanks for the OCG fix, ...I used may, again *facepalm* I know it doesn't exist in the game right now, which is exactly why I made this theme, to add something new to the game which is easy to implant. 玄魔の王
It certainly is an interesting idea, but I'll reserve rating until I see more. Link to comment
Umbra
Actually, there is a card that can place cards in face-down Attack Position, known as Darkness Approaches. Still, there's no obvious rulings about it. Link to comment
-Griffin
Darkness Approaches gave me the idea, shame it's so unused and unruled though.Anyway, first 5 cards of the 30 card set translated. Any comments with them? Link to comment
玄魔の王
I like the cards. They seem well-fitted with effects. The only other thing I'd like to see is a Tuner and a Synchro, or possibly a Fusion. Link to comment
-Griffin
They have them, just still YVD-ified and stuck with painful OCG of before I was any good at all at it. I'll be adding some more this morning. Link to comment
-Griffin
Added some of the Tuners/Synchros, also made the repeating text small. Link to comment
玄魔の王
A Level 5 Tuner? HELLO! My only thing is that the Level 9 is underpowered; maybe 2800 ATK? Link to comment
-Griffin
The deck can summon the level 9 Synchro easily, any level 4 + any face-down turned into Evoloution Serpent = 9, but yeah, he'll rarely be over 3500, so I see your point, I added, "During battle between this attacking card and a Defense Position monster whose DEF is lower than the ATK of this card, inflict the difference as Battle Damage to your opponent.", fixed the OCG and gave him 500 base attack. 玄魔の王
Boo Yah! Now that's a monster. I's lovin' this Archetype. For now I give the monsters 9.5/10, they're just that cool. I'll rate the set as a whole when more support appears. Link to comment
◊ Hᵃᵏᵃˢᵉ ◊
Dang it. Someone beat me to talking about Darkness Approaches. Rofl rofl rofl. xDNice set. Good concept. But just not something very useful truthfully. It's good against Lightning Vortex though. <.< 6/10 Link to comment

Besides, dodging Lightning Vortex and them alone is pretty good. Link to comment
-Griffin
And Smashing Ground and Blackwing - Gale and a vast amount of others. The main thing they avoid though. Is attacks. Since you can rearrange your face-down cards whenever they flip face-down, they have no idea what they're hitting, they could hit something which will use an effect to kill it, something that will out-battle it, something that will just search a monster for you. And since they're randomly placed, things like Brio, DAD and all other targeted destruction won't know what they're hitting. Also; 5 new cards. Link to comment

玄魔の王
I'll correct your OCG, and suggest something a bit less overpowered: |Overflow Ocean||Spell|Continuous||This card’s name is treated as “Umi” while in your hand or in the Graveyard. When this card would be destroyed, you may discard 1 “Umi” instead. This card gains the following effects depending on the number of “Umi” cards in the Graveyard: 1 or more: This card’s name is treated as “Umi”. 2 or more: Face-up WATER monsters gain 300 ATK. 3 or more: downgrade all WATER monsters in both players’ hands by 1 Level. 4 or more: This card can not be destroyed. 5 or more: Face-up WATER monsters gain 700 ATK.| Link to comment
-Griffin
Ok, I fixed that.I'm almost done with the next group of cards, should be less than half an hour if I don't fall asleep by then. EDIT: Ok, there's the 5 new cards Link to comment

-Griffin
Bump, anyone else going to comment? The last ones for this should be up this weekend, after that, you can expect a special set that me and Darkdust have been working on and then I'll be cracking into my new Thunder-Type set. To-Chi
I can't really contribute anything in the way of improvement (doesn't say much =\ ), but I will say I'm glad to see more Sea Serpents, and I love the face-down attack position ideal. I haven't seen that sine Yu-Gi-Oh!: Forbidden Memories for the PS1. Gawd did I love to f*ck people up with that. :D But yeah, it's super-fantastical. Can't wait to see the last 4 (or more.) -Griffin
Two new cards added, am probably going to work on a pair of Synchros or high-Level monsters to get to the full 30. Link to comment
玄魔の王
The archetype to me seems fully capable of functioning with the right support, and the cards all seem balanced, so I personally would say this theme is meta-worthy. Link to comment
