[spoiler=Plot]When a noise posses a person it eats that person's Soul piece by piece. Even if you kill the noise you can never get the Soul back right? Wrong, as proven by the new Producer Nakano. Using this revitalized soul, he bound them to special pins, creating a deadly Scrap Noise (dangerous as they revive every so often, given a couple minutes), as well as making new style psyche pins for the players. Due to the debacle of Joshua's game with Kitaniji, Hanekoma had to go to hiding and a large amount of Reapers (Shades included) had to be replaced. As a result, Reapers from other countries are currently replacing Shibuya's, they come from a mix of places: A spartan, a former Spetsnaz, A Apache archer, a Aztec Shaman, and a Shaolin Monk to name a few of them.

 

Unlike Kitaniji who was merciless to protect Shibuya, this new conductor fights to make sure he doesn't lose. As such he allows the rules to be occasionally "bent" to make sure that no Players survive. AS such he allows some reapers to assassinate the more promising players.

 

And it was just your luck to have been sent to the UG while this all happened.

Personality: Headstrong, tries to be funny, but usually fails. Often shy around females he finds attractive.

Personality: Six years ago, James lost his sister to the Noise. She was a Player at the time, and died from her injuries. Since then, he has grown cold and unforgiving. He rarely talks to the other Reapers, and only listens to the conductor's orders. He has no friends, falling deeper and deeper into depression and eventual death. He needs salvation.

Age: Twenty-three.

Pins: Straitjacket, Wonder Magnum, Stopper Spark. He also carries the Black Mars and Black Saturn pins, and is privately seeking the other Black Planet pins.

Appearance (Please give a detailed description, no pictures/tekteks): Caporogine is fairly tall and wears asterotypical mod suit, he was a reaper in America before moving to Shibuya to help plug the extremely low reaper amount after the O-pin incident.

Personality: Caporegime acts like he's tough, that he would heartlessly strike down anyone, in reality he is actually a bit of an emotional softy. He has take a liking to Ramen, noting it's a likeness to Japanese Spaghetti and brings a cooked cup noodles with him anywhere. He has taken an interest in the resident Yakuza but so far hasn't made contact and may never will.

Age:25 but died during Al Capone's rule over Chicago

Pins (Maximum=6): One pin allows him to fire his Tommy Gun and damage Players and Noise with it. The other 5 each summon a noise, unlike other noise these take a human skeleton apperance and wear Caporegime's Mafia uniform, these he calls the Soldato, two wield tommy guns, one wields a shotgun, the other a baseball bat, and the final one throughs Molotav Cocktails. Note that the Soldato are Scrap noise so they regenerate after a few minutes. Caporegime is very attached to the Soldato and sometimes talks to them.

Personality: Attempts to keep calm, although he usually gets hot headed and short tempered.

Appearance: Shunpei has short dyed-blond hair cut in a messy style that always hangs down on his forehead. He wears a black unzipped hooded sweatshirt and a dark-gray T-shirt under it; the sweatshirt is decorated with his various pins. His pants are brown cutoff shorts that end at his knees, and he wears plain black-and-white sneakers.

Personality: This kid's more than a bit playful, and isn't above teasing and provoking his opponent players. However, he also likes to do this with his fellow Reapers, which can leave to some joking slaps to the face for him. Shunpei can be aggressive and direct during battle, but just usually enjoys toying with his foe before dashing off and leaving them to the Noise that he summons up.

Age: 19

Pins: Shunpei uses the Fuh-Rin-Ka-Zan series of pins (Swift as the Wind, Hushed as the Wood, Fierce as the Flame, Stalwart as the Mount), along with one last pin he has not revealed yet. Due to the rarity of the set, some have believed that he stole the pins, which is most likely true.

Name: Kago Chiaki (加護千秋, Chiaki Kago)

Appearance: Kago wears her hair in a bit of a bundle which resembles a crudely drawn rose. Speaking of, her hair is a complete white, due to her fascination with "Ganguro" styles. As such, her skin is naturally tanned and near a darkish brown in color. She usually wears a blackish sweater which stops at her shoulders, Which complements her even darker mini-skirt of obsidian color, which has a Flower de Fleur pattern. She traditionally hides her wings to trick players into trusting her, before erasing them.

Personality: She is a curious reaper of sorts. She extends an appearence of helping Players, which she genuinely does and passes Judgement on them. If they are up to her standards, she lets them "live" until the end of the game. As stated, she is cruel temptress, drawing in unsuspecting Players (as proof of her powers and pins). She doesn't typically show any real emotion as she is constantly acting in front of Players.

Name: Takahiro Amemiya

Appearance: Takahiro is garbed in normal Japanese high school attire, with the exception of his pants, which were a dark red. His shirt was normally buttoned, but he let the sides hang off, instead of tucking them in his pants. A small chain dangles off the edge of his collar, the words 'Literacy Club' was scribbled on the end of the chain in Kanji.

He wears glasses that are only partly visible, due to his hair, which was almost always a 'holy mess'. It's an amber brown, and it droops to below his eyes in some cases. He'll occasionally flip it back if it gets in the way of his vision.

Personality: Highly intelligent, but a bit anti-social. He doesn't hate people, he's just simply afraid of them. Ever since elementary school, he's been frightened to socially interact with anyone outside the literary club, and even then, he'll only speak if spoken to.

He rarely leaves the confides of his room, which is cluttered with various encyclopedias and dictionaries.

Age: 16. 3rd year High school student.

He has a coy face that always seems to be smiling, and wears a pair of thin, wiry bronze glasses. For clothing, she generally seems to wear a casual mix between traditional Dragon Couture and infrequently fashionable Hip Snake, wearing a silk dress-like garment with a Hip Snake coat or pair of leggings, wearing the rest of the silk clothing like a cape. Often seen wearing a silver necklace.

Personality: Ishikawa is an odd bird, often ranging between insanely curious, annoyingly bored, or simply difficult. She finds it nearly impossible to take anything seriously, and prefers to take her time when possible. She has an endless supply of made-up-on-the-spot sayings to justify her personality, and has a childlike fascination with the shiny. She often doesn't care what others think of her, but paradoxically does at other times.

Noise. Reapers. The Conductor and Composer. All of these things are unknown to the public. The only ones who know about these people and things, are the Players. The Players are assigned the task of surviving their time in Shibuya. If they can avoid erasure, the Players are given a second chance at life. The newest Players were hand-picked by Nakano, to cheat erasure and attempt another chance at life. But, as expected, new Reapers have appeared as well. Players, here is your message.

Katou was sitting in the ramen shop, slowly eating a bowl of Miso Ramen. "Another, please." He said, smiling at nothing. I wonder... When am I going to see the other Players... "Excuse me?" The clerk said. Katou jumped in surprise, "Oh, thank you." He said politely, now smirking.

 

As Katou finished his second bowl, the clerk held out his hand. "Ooh... Right..." Katou laughed, pulled some money out his pocket. Not even half the payment. The clerk scowled, and sighed. "Alright." He says. "Thank you SO much mister." Katou shook his head thankfully, then ran, as he didn't want the clerk to change his mind.

ic The Caporgime was sitting in a ramen shop. While the atmosphere seemed pretty dull the food was excellent. After eating a large bowl of Ramen, Caporgime noticed a kid at the corner of his eye. He left without paying in full, tragic if he still had his men, he would order that man exterminated at the drop of a hat. Caporgime reaches into his pocket and produces enough yen for both his and the boys meal and hands it to the clerk. "Keep the change." Caporgime then followed that boy, who knew what he could do to that boy, but at the very least he should send a Noise to posses that boy. "This town is now under my protection kid, and the first rule is you don't mess around the Mob's territory."

 

OOC: Caporgime is simillar to Kago, he only attacks people specifically ordered or if they break one of his 'rules' (these are famously ridiculous, like remembering to flush or pay or bills to a restaurant and to tip, murder is fine). Notice how Caporgime is the only forgien Reaper so far, though Beat and Neku erased most of the reapers that attacked them, (which was pratically all of them) so only Koki, Usuki, and maybe a few others should still be alive. Of course these could be from other Japanese towns like Tokyo.

The shopping crowds of the 104 Building were even more ecstatic than ever now that a new line from Natural Puppy was arriving. In the midst of the crowd, Kago glanced between the bustling people and kept looking for decent ways to amuse herself before the game began.

"Something's definitely in the air, but I can't really tell what it is. Ah, well. Who cares? It's nice out for once in my life." Whistling a happy tune, Yakaba Shunpei kept up a steady pace while strolling along the Shibuyan streets, in both the RG and UG. Although he looked completely average in the human world, if one were to look at him in the dimension where the Reaper's Game took place, they'd see a pair of black fluttering tattoo wings behind him. No doubt about it; Yakaba was a Reaper. However, what he was doing wandering around at this time was indiscernible to the average person. There was no air of hostility, so it was most likely trying to figure out where the next place he should inspect would be.

 

Finding his destination, the teenage Reaper walked over to the statue of Hachiko and sat down contentedly on a nearby bench, withdrawing his wings back into his back as he rested. “Ah, it’s good to get away from the job for once. It’s only Day 1, so it’s not like I have to intervene already. Besides, we can just let the Noise take care of the weaklings, right?” This rhetoric went unanswered, so Yakaba sighed and sprawled out, lazily unpinning a pin from his sweatshirt and polishing it with the shirt’s cloth. ‘Eh, I might just sleep for now.’ Pulling the hood of his top over the brim of his face, he closed his eyes partially, and began to relax, hoping no-one would wake him.

Katou started running again, coincidentally in the direction of his partner. Katou stopped at the cafe, looking at it with a confused face, wondering where it came from. "That wasn't there when I was going to the ramen shop..." He just shrugged it off and began running again. Suddenly, Katou fell to the ground, holding his chest. sheet! He scrambled around desperately, reaching into his pocket and pulling out an inhaler. Almost instantly it was in his mouth, being puffed. Katou sighed with relief. He put a grin on his face and started running again, this time with his inhaler in hand.

Takahiro walked through the Hachiko area, not once averting his gaze from the book that he held in front of him. This made him walk into a few things, but it didn't bother him much. As he reached the statue of Hachiko, he saw a figure sleeping on the bench beside it. Takahiro sighed to himself, that was his favorite reading spot, and someone was sleeping on it. He was about to say something to the man, but decided against it as he turned away.

 

He was about to delve back into his book, but his phone suddenly started ringing loudly. Takahiro ignored this, and continued reading. Strangely, the ring didn't stop. He reached into his pocket and attempted to turn the phone off, it was to no avail. It kept ringing. Frustrated, he reached into the back of the phone, pulled out it's batteries, and chucked them at the statue of Hachiko. The phone still rang.

 

He finally gave in, and opened his phone.

"Katou Shigehito-Takahiro Amemiya"

 

He nodded, knowing what this meant. He closed his book, sighing, and placed it in his pocket. He stared for a moment, trying to identify this Katou Shigehito from the rest of the crowd, he was unsuccessful, and decided the best plan of attack would be to find her before the Noise came. Takahiro started walking in the direction of Cat Street, keeping an eye open for his soon-to-be partner.

Katou just finished drawing letters on a picket sign that said: "Katou Shigehito" with an arrow pointing down, towards himself. Katou was still huffing, from running so far. He took another puff of his inhaler and put it back into his pocket, then taking out his cell phone. So, if I don't hurry my ass up and find this guy... I will face "erasure"? What the hell is erasure? I'm not some pencil letter that you can just erase, I'm like a pen. Katou unpinned one of his Pins and stared at it, enveloped in it's design and what its powers were supposed to be. Wonderful Magnum...

Mikumo walked around the area just in front of 104. She knew nobody is going to disturb her, as she is a player. Her phone then rang loudly, and she decided to open it.

 

It says, "Mikumo Hasegawa - Masato Kawazoe"

 

She knew what the message meant and thus, she started searching for the person named Masato Kawazoe, even though she didn't know who he is or what he looks like. Of course she obviously know that Masato is a boy.

 

"I think the wisest thing to do is to wait for him. It is easier than going all out searching." she thought. She decided to wait in the area of Hachikou.

(Odd question here, but do Reapers have partners too? Looking at Kariya and Uzuki as an example, it seems to me that individual Reapers are at a disadvantage when they fight alone [Notice that the Shadow-thing they leave behind on one screen is weaker than they are], unless they happen to be a GM or higher and have a Cantus Form.)

 

Ishikawa glanced around brightly as she tied her hair back with a new set of Slogan Bandannas she has just bought from the Shibukyu Stationside KuraKura store. She smiled, and glanced at herself in the mirror beside the entrance to the store.

 

"Looks heavenly... So perfect for me!" She said with a giggle, her Noise-like pair of wings shifting slightly with her body. People passed behind her, apparently unaware of the strange appendages, but still parted to make sure she wasn't knocked down; She was at least that visible.

 

She stifled another giggle, leaned against the store, and glanced over at the statue of Hachiko. For whatever reason, this place was popular for the Players to make their Pacts. Though she wasn't allowed to attack them yet, she could still send some Noise at the weaker pairs and hopefully wrack up some extra Points. After all, the first day was when all the bad choices were weeded out- and converted into Points for her, and her Reaper friends.

 

She smiled a little bit, and placed one of her favorite pins, Blue Blood Burns Blue, onto her new bandanna. She giggled and cocked her head coyly.

It didn't matter. James could observe the Players night and day, but it wouldn't matter. The Conductor's orders were very clear on that. No direct attacks on the Players. He could summon a few Noise to take them down, but it would require too much energy. Energy that could be used elsewhere. Would be used elsewhere. The day before, the two Black Planet pins in his pocket had vibrated. Another one was nearby, and from Mars' intense reaction, he guessed that it was Mercury.

 

Even though he wanted to, he couldn't sit here all day. Another of the Conductor's orders: If the Reapers didn't kill - or "erase", as he put it - enough Players, they'd be killed themselves. Such are the rules of the Game. He took out a special Pin, created for this purpose: Empty Pin, for the creation of Special Noise. He shivered in pain as he did what he had to do; tearing loose a part of his own soul and storing the fragment inside the pin. Streaks of black and purple spread across the pin as a human shape materialized next to it. It was always the same girl; pale, skinny, with long white hair hanging in strands and a crazed look in her eyes. It was neither human, nor Noise. It was the darkness of his soul, Yôkai Koharu. He would have recognized her face anywhere. Juliet. The Noise stared at him hungrily, and he nodded.

"Koharu, there's food for you at the statue of Hachiko. Spare the Reapers only." With a wide grin, the girl jumped off into the city.

 

Q Floor was a lot less dark at night.
