Lord Smeagle
Introducing my new set! In stark contrast to my recently completed Seven Deadly Sets, the Virtuous cards are noble defenders of truth and justice. This set will commence the continuing storyline that my cards have developed. It features three specific monster sets. First up are the Virtuous Seven, 7 angels representing the forces of good in the world. Next are the Three Heavenly Weapons, heavy-hitting Fairy-Types based on "divine" weapons of lore and legend. Finally, there are the Saint Soldiers, noble heroes who perished during the Discordian Saga and have been revived to hasten humanity's recovery in the aftermath of the Cosmic Judgement. Enjoi! The Virtuous Seven work together and are in direct opposition to the themes of the Seven Deadly Sets. Charity (vs. Greed) grants your opponent cards, but gives you a chance to get them back. Chastity (vs. Lust) is a massive heavy-hitting four star, provided nobody's dealing in Life Points. This card accumulates effects while you control the appropriate card(s):+Virtuous 7 - Chastity: This card's original ATK becomes 2500+Virtuous 7 - Praise: This card's original DEF becomes 2500+Virtuous 7 - Charity: Once per turn, you can discard a card from your hand to draw a card.+Virtuous 7 - Mercy: This card cannot be destroyed by battle.+Virtuous 7 - Sacrifice: You can Tribute this card to negate an effect that destroys a card on the field.+Virtuous 7 - Purity: Negate the effects of Equip Cards equipped to monsters that battle this card until the End Phase. Humility (vs. Pride) is the most powerful of the Virtuous Seven, but her strength is not her own. Mercy (vs. Wrath) spares her foes, in hopes that they will realize their error of their ways. Praise (vs. Sloth) keeps spirits high and despair away. Purity (vs. Gluttony) can defeat any foe (once), provided she's unarmed. Sacrifice (vs. Envy) will martyr herself for the cause of justice. The main Support Card for the Virtuous 7. It's a basic support card, unless you've got all 7 in the Graveyard, in which case it's a powerful effect that will get you a powerful Fairy-Type. Three Heavenly Weapons: Legendary "divine" weapons personified. Zanmato is a potent force indeed, but cannot be made to serve the forces of anything but good (read: not splashable.) No negation and no defense will save you from Longinus, the Divine-Piercing Spear! Excalibur is absolutely indestructible! (Unless you RFG/bounce.) Others Jaelin's Effect: This card can only be Ritual Summoned with the Ritual Spell Card, "Martyr's Final Prayer" (you must also offer monsters from your Hand or field whose total Level Stars equal 7 or more.) If this card is in the Graveyard, when a monster you control is destroyed by battle, you can remove 1 "Martyr's Final Prayer" in your Graveyard from play to Special Summon this card from the Graveyard, and increase this card's ATK and DEF by the original ATK and DEF of the destroyed monster. Saint Soldiers These guys come into play at the end of the Discordian Saga. (see Ultimate Set Collection, link in mah sig.) Having fallen in battle during those events, these warriors were revived and granted divine strength by God to protect the inhabitants of Earth while they struggle against the remnants of the invading armies and attempt to rebuild. Saint Soldiers form a "loop" since each of their powers are dependent on controlling another specific Saint Soldier. For example, if you control all five of these, you get all of their effects. Same with these, but their effects are more complex. I had fun with these names (how could you not?) I do not own these images, they are courtesy of Google Images and Photoshop. Lord Smeagle
wow these are good the only problem i can see is those arent exactly the virtues :P 8/10 I see. Unfortunately, the virtues aren't known nearly as well as the sins. Possibly because the sins are more fun. :? Honestly, I thought for a minute about doing the Beatitudes, but they're so vague it would have been almost impossible to convey the idea, plus again, they aren't widely known. Yours is a pretty sweet set, though.
