ragnarok1945
True, he was actually Hitler's ally until June 1941, mainly because he wanted more territory just like Hitler did. Which makes me ask: You DO realize why after his defeat in the Battle of Britain, Hitler chose to spare Britain and turn to the USSR, right? ragnarok1945
Well Hitler wanted western Russia as a giant German colony. He spared Britain because he saw how many colonies Britain conquered across the world. He felt the German people could learn from that, and western Russia will be Germany's personal colony. Besides, Hitler didn't want Britain's colonies to be fought over by other countries, which is what would happen if Britain fell.

ragnarok1945
it actually goes the same with the US as well. The American and British POWs were always treated better than the Russians because he felt the Americans and British are part of the Aryan race and therefore is worthy of respect. On the other hand, the Slavs, and Bolsheviks are subhuman and deserve to burn in hell.

Hitler, having occupied France and been warring with Britain for a long time, thought that Britain were economically neutralised, and saw that as his opportunity to attack Russia, and occupy Britain at a later date. ragnarok1945
No, he never wanted to defeat and occupy Britain. When he made the attack to the west, the plain was the occupation of the low countries and France ONLY. Britain was not part of that plan. If it was he never would have allowed the BEF to escape from Dunkirk

ragnarok1945
typical. Well there goes right away the 6 million Jews killed. Though some countries did much to protect their Jews. Italy for example refused to deport any of theirs to German captivity until German troops occupied the country in autumn 1943

ragnarok1945
yeah against Russia, Hitler had originally found it annoying that at the beginning of the war, he was fighting the wrong war. He had hold to have the UK as an ally against Russia, not the roles reversed.
